Gina noticed it.
Even though it was for a split second, she noticed the realization in Alessander's gaze.
"Something the matter?"
He flashed her a calculated smile. "I have some school work I haven't gotten around to doing, and I'm way past my deadline." His voice sounded controlled, if Gina hadn't caught sight of his moment's hesitation, she would think that this man was innocent.
Picking up his jacket he said in a fake rush, "I have to leave."
Gina nodded, she equally got up, "Fine. But can you drive me back to campus? My car is still there."
Alessander agreed, although it was clear that he wanted more than to get away from the woman pestering him. He could tell that she was trouble, and he wasn't trying to draw more attention to himself.
In the car, Gina resumed her questioning.
"Did you hear from Hailey at all the day she went missing?"
