There was no denying the sense of pride that overwhelmed me as he pulled me into his apartment and shut the door behind us.
"Alessander! What the hell?!" Hailey banged her fists against the door angrily, yelling at the top of her lungs.
Her friends had already left, but the brunette was persistent. I was just about to go outside and send her away, when Alessander returned from his bedroom, holding a gun.
"Hey! Are you crazy, what are you trying to do?!" I stood in front of him with my arms stretched out, blocking him from reaching the door.
Surely he wasn't thinking of shooting her down? Certainly not in the lobby of his apartment building!
"That bitch never learns. I ought to teach her a lesson, permanently."
I didn't like the sound of that. "She just has a little crush on you!" I tried speaking sense into him, "That's not enough reason to have her shot." This kid! Why did he always resort to violence?
He didn't look convinced.
