Alessander held me tightly in his arms and hugged me, his body language and his silence harshly pulled me into reality.
"It wasn't a dream was it? My sister is really dead, isn't she?" Tears fell from my eyes, the scene of her getting shot kept replaying on my mind.
"You were there damnit! And you didn't even lift a finger to save her! How could you?!" I slapped his chest, "My sister died because of you!"
I scratched, slapped and bit him, but Alessander didn't budge, he held onto me tightly through my tears and anguish.
I don't know for how long we stayed like that, but when we separated, Alessander went outside to answer a phone call, which took a while.
When he came back, I had gathered a bit of myself, enough to ask about the body. "Where is it? My sister's body, where is it?"
"Outside. I've already buried her-" I cut him off with a tight slap to the face.
