Tilting his head to the side confusedly, Ren stared at the djinn in silence for a couple of seconds before curiously asking.
"What is it you want, then?"
Avoiding eye contact with Ren, the djinn looked down at the floor for some time until he finally opened his mouth.
"I-i want to be a human again."
"..."
Ren, even more confused than ever, stared at the djinn's ashamed figure, which was crumbling to the floor.
Contracts between demons and djinns can't be signed forcefully, so the djinn had to have chosen to become one out of his own voalition
Yet...it seems he regrets that choice.
Unfortunately, in this world, there are no do-overs or restarts.
Unless... you're Ren, who basically got a do-ever after he died on Earth and transmigrated to this world.
