Chapter 1 - Entrance (revised)

"In the infinite universe, there is not a single plane that a Fatih cannot strive and conquer!"

- Words of the first Fatih emerged from the Celestial Plane

Celestial Plane, a mighty plane renowned throughout the universe. The birthplace of the Fatihs, one of the most ambitious species in existence. A land that holds the foundations and the hopes for the rise of the Fatihs, who have earned their place among the five great powers. And with many more traits, it stands as a colossal world on the level of the primary plane!

Tens of thousands of Fatihs are born, grow, receive training at the Academy of the Fatih, and when the time for graduation arrives, they pass through the Gate of Conquest to embark on a perilous adventure. Many are killed by foreign races during this journey, or suffer fates worse than death, yet just as many manage to protect their lives and continue progressing on their path to the pinnacle.

Today was one of those sacred days of celebration that, despite the passing of millions of years, had not lost its joy — Graduation day!

For many intelligent races, graduation is seen as a simple celebration, but for the Fatihs, it holds a special meaning. For them, graduation means finishing the Academy of the Fatih and beginning the true adventure.

Thousands of Fatihs were lined up in front of the Gate of Conquest for graduation. Their pale gray energy bodies appeared humanoid. The true forms of the Fatihs were energy-based, and in this form, they were nearly immune to physical effects, except for mind magic. As a result, they were notably vulnerable to beings that could manipulate any form of energy.

This weakness would be compensated once they crossed the Gate of Conquest and took possession of a body in the plane they descended upon. In this way, not only would their true identities remain concealed, but they would also adapt more easily to the plane they emerged on.

Moreover, at higher levels, they would gain the ability to freely use their energy forms as a secondary body, and this form would not be as weak as their current one. Of course, most young Fatihs preferred to focus on the task at hand rather than thinking too far ahead.

Even the laziest Fatih had arrived on time, for being late would mean wasting decades spent in the academy and falling hopelessly behind their peers, among countless other negative consequences.

The Gate of Conquest was an ancient structure, hundreds of meters tall and wide. Carvings of races that had been conquered and assimilated by the Fatihs adorned it. Behind the open doors was a darkness impenetrable by light. However, for the Fatihs, this darkness symbolized not fear and uncertainty, but countless opportunities and possibilities. Mysteriously, the carvings occasionally faded, disappeared, or new ones appeared. The young Fatihs knew that this phenomenon was connected to the actions of their elders, who were fighting battles across the universe.

The origins of the Gate of Conquest, a mystical structure in its own right, were unknown to anyone in the current generation. Some believed it was the creation of the first Fatih, others thought it had been found in a foreign plane and brought to the Celestial Plane, while some claimed it had existed alongside the Celestial Plane itself. However, there were few ways to verify these theories, and many Fatihs believed that once they became powerful enough, they could ask their elders at the top about these questions. As a result, few pursued these theories, and no conclusions had been reached to this day.

One of the more notable members of the graduating class, Ülgen, had once been curious about these theories but had decided that confirming them would be a waste of time and instead focused on his studies. Now, he was waiting for his turn to put into practice everything he had learned and more.

Since the possibilities beyond the Gate of Conquest were entirely random and did not favor the strong among the Fatihs, the order of entry did not matter much. Therefore, Ülgen wasn't troubled by being near the back of the line. Sooner or later, his turn would come, and he would set off on his conquest journey — so why not wait a little longer? Until his turn came, he could focus on reviewing the knowledge he had and generating flexible ideas that could be adapted to the situation!

Thus, after several hours of silent contemplation and brainstorming, Ülgen's turn finally arrived. The brightness in his gray energy eyes reflected his excitement and hopes. He was so curious about what kind of body he would awaken in, which races he would rise above, and on what kind of plane he would establish his dominance... But he suppressed his curiosity, knowing he would soon find out!

A majestic angel, four-winged and eight meters tall, a Fatih in control of a body, looked at the young Fatih with the pride of a teacher toward their student. The divine aura in the golden pupils of the angel warmed Ülgen's heart. "Ülgen, you have shown remarkable performance over the past years and have proven yourself as a successful student. Now, you face your greatest trial: survive, and we shall see you again safe and sound at your graduation reunion two hundred years from now."

"Thank you, Master Leroil! I won't disappoint you!" Ülgen responded with a smile, the excitement evident in the tremor of his voice.

With a nod from the massive angel, Ülgen dashed towards the Gate of Conquest like a gray bolt of lightning. Once his silhouette vanished, his peers continued to line up without any reaction. His departure didn't cause the slightest ripple across the vast Celestial Plane. Perhaps a few classmates and family members conducting their own conquests on other planes would wonder about him, but that was all. For now, he was still a young Fatih with no significant achievements to his name. If he wanted his name to be known and his presence to matter, he had to earn it — and he had no intention of holding back on this path!
