The next morning was quite unexpected for the Sinclair kids. They all came out of their bedroom rubbing their eyes as they could hear loud laughter coming from the kitchen.
"I wonder who this is?" Abi remarked clutching her small stuffed toy in one hand and holding Georgie's in the other one.
"Sounds like Mrs. Sinclair!" Georgie whispered, his eyes staring ahead.
"Impossible!" Alex remarked at that. It had been such a long time since they all heard their mommy laugh like that.
The sound almost sounded alien to their ears.
"Mommy must be happy due to Abigail's health," Ariel threw her arm around Abi's frail shoulders and squeezed her. She also gave a side glance to the boy who was becoming Abigail's shadow with each passing day.
However, this was not the suitable time to focus on Georgie but on their mom.
They all stopped dead when they saw whatever was visible going on in the kitchen.
