Chapter 219 Stay Honest
George, who had just lost his brother and was unconscious on impact, was dragged into the phalanx by Angela.
Angela took out her golden knife and prepared to follow the process and take out the heart first.
But just as she was about to lay down the knife, she froze.
George's spirit body actually sat up of its own accord.
The translucent spirit floated outside, while the lower half of the body still sat inside.
George didn't know what was happening, and first sat frozen in place before looking up and seeing Angela in front of him and the small golden knife in her hand before nearly jumping up in shock.
Angela looked back with a surprised expression, "I can't believe I ran into a free spirit."
George had no idea what Angela was talking about, and after realizing he could move, he immediately stood up and tried to run. But just as he exerted himself he fell to the ground because his feet were still attached to his body.
As a result of this fall, his face landed right on David's gruesome body.
"Davey!!!" George froze, then cried out as he reached out to pick up his brother's body, only to find that his translucent arms went through and couldn't touch it at all.
Angela slowly stood up, there was still plenty of time, she to wanted to see how far this free spirit could go.
"Oooooo..." George whimpered, but realized he couldn't even shed a tear.
Thinking he was dead as well, he stopped thinking about running away and just hugged his brother weakly in despair.
"Brother, brother!"
Who knows, before he could cry for long, a faint voice came from his side.
George twisted his head to look and was startled at first.
For there was a translucent white spirit by his leg as well.
Only this spirit body only had a head left, and its appearance was somewhat blurred, as if it would dissipate in a short time.
"David?" Being awakened by the other's string of older brothers, George finally recognized his own brother.
He lunged over as soon as he could – this time he managed to grab his brother's head.
"Brother, brother, I'm so sick." David didn't seem to know what was going on yet, and only turned to his brother for help.
Distraught and panicked, George picked his brother up, but he didn't really know how to help him and make him feel better.
However, as Davey's head was pressed close to George's, a dimly conscious Davey felt some sort of instinctive tug, and as he looked at his brother's spirit body's neck, he always felt that he would feel a lot more comfortable if he could have a neck and body of his own.
So Davey suddenly jumped out of George's hand and landed on George's shoulder at once.
The scene happened so suddenly that neither Angela nor Saul reacted.
But the next scene surprised them even more.
After David's head landed on George's shoulder, it actually swayed from side to side and then grew on it.
Not only did George's spirit body not reject his brother's soul, but it also took the initiative to tilt George's head to the right to make room for Davey.
Just like that, George became a one-person, two-headed man!
Saul instantly cringed, while Angela's eyes widened in excitement.
"One body and two souls? No, one soul and two senses? I've actually encountered a spirit that is even more rare than a free spirit?"
Angela couldn't believe that after the streak of bad luck that had been haunting her, she had actually harvested an extremely rare spirit body in the next consecration spell.
If she could harness this spirit body, perhaps ... she might be able to drive the left hand grudge spirit out of her body.
Angela put down her knife and gave a sweet smile to make herself look harmless.
Then she stood up straight, stretched out her hands, and mouthed an incantation.
George, who had been staring blankly at his brother, who had suddenly grown on him, heard a pleasant sound and couldn't help but look up across the room along with his brother David.
There was a cute little girl across the street who was holding out her hands to them, "Come on, it's too dangerous out there, come to your sister, she'll protect you."
George suddenly felt that the person across the street was so kind, and that he was in a dangerous position, as if he could die at any moment.
So he moved slowly towards Angela, gradually getting closer, even one of his feet left his body and stepped forward.
David, however, was not compelled as George was; he only felt that the young lady in front of him, although beautiful, looked terrible, like the horror stories rumored in their villages about demons with beautiful faces.
"Brother, don't go over there!"
But David, who had just melted into George's body and had no power, couldn't stop George at all, and could only watch anxiously and powerlessly as his brother detached himself from his body a little bit, and walked towards the bad woman on the opposite side. Seeing that George's soul was about to completely leave his body, with only a trace of connection left with his body, Angela's gaze shone brighter and brighter.
However, just at this moment, a hand suddenly reached out in the void and pressed a hand on George's face, followed by a vigorous knock, which completely pressed George's spirit back into his body in one go!
"Stay honest!"
As Saul watched, his brother David's head also "giggled" into George's skull.
He had just tried to stand out, but neither Angela could see him. It was as if Saul was in another dimension, watching through a screen.
It wasn't until Saul had just made a heartfelt move to save George that he had a hand through the barrier and into the world they were in.
"Who! Damn it! Who is it again!" Angela's smile twisted for a split second as several unexpected visitors popped up that made her heart explode with anger.
Just now, George's spirit body was clearly just one step away from completely detaching from her body and becoming her possession. But a hand suddenly appeared out of nowhere and pressed George back.
How was this a duck in the mouth that flew away?
This was clearly a case of her having eaten all of it, only to have her throat opened and the duck inside gleaned out again!
Angela looked in the direction where the hand had connected and almost instantly made a strike against the Necromancer.
Whoever was messing around, get him dead, then cut George's heart open and have another chance to extract the grudge.
Saul had just stood up and instantly felt a powerful wave of magic behind him, he lunged to the side without thinking, but the black stream of light still pierced through his left ribcage.
However, what neither side expected was that although Saul's body was pierced through a small hole, a powerful spirit energy surged out from his body, filling the wound in an instant.
Sol then felt hungry once again.
"It's what I just ate that's replenishing my energy. What exactly is that thing inside the candle pipe?"
In retrospect, what Saul had eaten in his semi-madness seemed to have a certain amount of energy in addition to great malice.
This made the 0th Order Sorcery Strike Necromancy, which was originally the nemesis of spirits, not do much damage to Sol at all.
It healed before it could heal!
Sol turned around and looked at his only exposed hand, feeling the difference between it and the rest of his body parts.
He did stand in this world, as evidenced by the fact that Angela's sorcery could hurt him, but Angela couldn't see him.
Experiencing the uniqueness of this arm, Saul gradually realized the mystery.
He dodged two more of Angela's attacks, becoming more and more certain of his suspicions.
With a watery ripple-like fluctuation, his figure appeared completely in front of Angela.
Only before appearing, he learned how it felt to change into an octopus, and made some changes to his appearance as well. After all, it wasn't Saul's face he was wearing when his soul came out of his body.
"Sol, Sol?"
After seeing the appearance of the spirit in front of him, the twisted expression on Angela's face instantly turned into bewilderment.
Her left hand grabbed the lapel of her chest as she couldn't help but take a step back.
"I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was you." Without noticing, she actually ventured into honorifics.
Saul swept over the other body on the floor, and sure enough, it had been made to look like a dead flower at the head, with only the limbs remaining to be worked on.
"So you made all the dead flowers in the past?" Saul asked.
Angela just wanted to bite her lip, but suddenly remembered that this guy in front of her was also a not the least bit aesthetically pleasing, so she could only honestly answer, "Yes."
Anyway, there was already a second person who knew about this matter, and Angela didn't care if a third or fourth one appeared.
As long as the mentor could be left alone, then this matter would still be an open secret.
In the face of Angela who was so honest to the point of being broken, Saul was momentarily speechless, and surprisingly did not know what to say.
A dead person in the wizard tower?
It was too common, even Saul had done living experiments, so naturally he was not qualified to stand out and act as any kind of justice messenger.
However ...
"George is my friend, I'm going to take him away."
