Chapter 135 - 135

Chapter 135: This Body Is Really Good

Bill and Wright were woefully back to back, and were dealing with the attacks of the human-headed monsters around them.

Luckily those human-headed monsters didn't have the idea of killing them, or else at least one of the two top level 3 apprentices would be dead right now.

The human-headed monsters seemed to be intentionally driving away Wright and Bill, driving them back from the edge of the valley.

Wright and Bill, on the other hand, took the opportunity to move towards the nearest cave, attempting to enter the underground and utilize the labyrinthine terrain to get rid of the large number of monsters.

But who would have thought that before they could even enter the cave, many people ran out of that cave. It was none other than the apprentices of the Land Rowboat who had been interfering with the two of them, causing them to fall into the siege of the human-headed monsters.

The two sides came face to face and nearly came to blows, and only because they were concerned about the human-headed monsters around them did they maintain calm for the time being.

And that mountain of human head monsters, after forcing everyone close to the cave at the bottom of the valley, they surrounded them and stacked them high on top of each other.

These human faces formed a tall enclosure, just like the excited spectators in the stands of the Colosseum, their eyes red and spitting, staring at the trapped beasts in the arena.

The beleaguered crowd looked at the wall of human heads stacked higher and higher, a heavy sense of powerlessness rising in their hearts.

"Herman!" Wright saw the hastily fleeing Herman at a glance and hated him with a passion.

At this moment, Wright was covered in mud and sand mixed with blood and flesh, and was not lightly injured.

Originally, it was suffocating enough for him and Bill to be forced back into the valley by a mountain full of head monsters. After encountering the people from the Land Rowing Boat, that Herman didn't think about how to escape, but even made a move to assassinate them!

Herman's sudden attack caused Wright to fall into the tide of human head monsters and almost didn't come out alive.

Later on, it was also Herman who ordered people to stop him and Bill from entering the crypt to escape, which caused Wright and Bill to be attacked from both sides, and both of them were seriously injured.

Until now, the human head monsters suddenly stopped attacking, and only then did Wright have the energy to look at Herman angrily.

Just before this anger could turn into curses, a powerful and icy aura spread out from the cave entrance that Herman and the others had just escaped from.

Both Wright and Bill subconsciously looked towards that cave, only to realize that the two of them had been forced back here in their panic.

Forced back to the exit of the crypt they had just escaped from.

Wright and Bill looked at each other, and one word came to mind at the same time.

Evil Spirit!

A hand, slowly reaching out from within the cave, ruffled the sunlight.

Everyone turned their heads towards the entrance of the cave, fear and nervousness and other emotions fixed on their faces.

Just now, the sound of fighting and killing resounded in the sky in the Drooping Hand Valley, but for a moment, it was strangely quiet.

When Herman and the others escaped from the cave, the evil spirits had only killed two people.

But he was in no hurry at all to chase after the remaining people, but stood still and savored the delicious taste of souls.

"Not bad for a complete and fresh soul."

The evil spirit licked his lips and raised his foot once again.

Having absorbed the spirit bodies of two people, his figure was no longer so staggering, and he could stand firmly as his paws landed on the ground.

One step further and there was sunlight.

The evil spirit stopped.

He seemed to fear the sunlight.

But when he lowered his head and saw his hands, his eyes actually showed a hint of excitement.

He walked to the entrance of the cave, where the shadows met the sunlight, and raised his hands, poking his fingertips out a little.

The sunlight shone on the evil spirit's fingertips, but it didn't bring the pain of the old days, only a little bit of faint warmth.

The Evil Spirit smiled a little and continued to extend his hand forward, then took a step forward, and his whole body stood up to the sunlight, welcoming the light that he had missed for a long time.

"This body is really ... good."

Looking up into the sky, the sun had not been this gentle in many years.

"Originally, it was a young apprentice that I wanted to casually eat, but I didn't expect his body to be so good. Perhaps, I can, with this body, completely resurrect!"

The evil spirit took another step forward, stepping on a small, rolling stone.

"Click."

The sound of the stone being stepped on and cracked was extraordinarily obvious in the silent Droopy Hand Valley.

It broke the frozen Draping Hand Valley.

"Saul?" Wright, who had been staring at the entrance of the cave, looked incredulously at the person who walked out.

Looking at Saul, who was feared by Herman's group, he didn't know for a moment if he should be sad or scared. When Wright didn't see Saul when Bill asked him to seal the exit with the ground thorns, he realized that Saul was afraid that he wouldn't be able to get out.

However, they had just abandoned Saul when they were forced back into the original cave entrance by hordes of human-headed monsters.

In the midst of the mess, they saw Saul walking out leisurely.

Fate is really fucking ridiculous!

Even more surprised than Wright was Bill.

His entire body was purple at this moment, the miserable aftermath of the overuse of a highly toxic sorcery.

"You ... are still alive?" Bill opened his mouth, and there was blood spilling from the corner of his mouth.

The evil spirit watched the crowd perform as if he were watching a comedy. Instead of rushing to initiate a kill, the corners of his mouth rose and he spat out a few words.

"I should say, I ... live."

The hoarse teenage voice was like a fire that lit a fuse, instantly activating the wall of heads in the periphery.

Huge cheers rang out, and the human head monsters jumped and jumped, surprisingly managing to maintain the high wall shaking but not collapsing.

"Lord Morton! Lord Morton!"

These human-headed monsters cheered as they approached the evil spirit, quickly blocking the cave behind him as well.

The cries of the human-headed monsters echoed across the valley, causing the faces of the surrounded sorcerer apprentices to grow more and more miserable.

Bill and Wright glanced at each other, both feeling like their mouths had become bitter with bitterness.

It was already clear to them that the person in front of them was not Saul, but an evil spirit that had somehow managed to possess Saul.

And this possession was not simply manipulating the dead body, but a deeper degree of possession. It was just that they hadn't expected that Saul's corpse could help the evil spirit escape the sunlight.

Originally left as a decoy to delay the evil spirits' footsteps, it unintentionally helped the evil spirits leave the crypt, plunging them into an even more horrific and desperate situation.

One wonders if Bill has any regrets at this point.

He and Wright could only be on guard against the Evil Spirit first, while keeping an eye on the human-headed monster behind them, spinning their brains rapidly, thinking of a way to escape.

And the Evil Spirit was narrowing its eyes, enjoying the praise of the human-headed monster.

He took a step forward and looked at the faces covered in fear and disbelief.

"So, which one to eat first?"

He casually walked towards one of the female apprentices.

The people around him hastily dodged left and right. And the female apprentice was so scared that she backed up, unintentionally hitting her back against the high wall made up of human-headed monsters.

The evil spirit lifted the corner of his mouth, "This is for you."

"Woo-hoo!" The human-headed monsters cheered and fell, drowning the female apprentice's figure.

The enclosure was suddenly empty with a gaping hole.

A sharp-eyed apprentice immediately wanted to escape from there, but just as he ran over, he saw that the human-headed monsters had already jumped back to their positions, blocking the gap in the fence.

Only the female apprentice's head and a pair of slender feet remained on the ground.

The most horrifying thing was that the female apprentice still had her eyes open, and they were looking dead downward, staring at where her neck and ankles were seamlessly connected.

And then wailed.

The apprentice who had rushed past her stumbled back in shock.

His arms flailed involuntarily and struck a man.

Then, he saw a gray, translucent palm, in which white bones could still be seen, pressed directly onto his face.

The white spirit body was then drawn out.

The evil spirit looked mesmerized as it drew the white spirit body into both palms, and slowly turned around again to look at the others present.

Finally, one of the apprentices broke down and continuously attacked the Evil Spirit despite the exertion, but those low-ranked sorceries suddenly disintegrated and dissipated the moment they got close to the Evil Spirit.

"Let's attack him together!" Herman couldn't care about the idea of extermination at this time, and hurriedly shouted to the two Bill on the other side, "None of us will survive if we don't kill the evil spirit."

Despite the fact that he very much didn't want to cooperate with his enemy, the situation was now critical, not a time to count on hatred, and the sorcerer apprentice wouldn't get emotional.

Bill immediately agreed, "Okay, let your men buy time!"

Low-ranked sorcery was useless against formal sorcerer-level evil spirits, only if they worked together to cast high-ranked sorcery could they possibly beg for a ray of hope.

The second shift, the average booking has reached three thousand, scatter flowers.

It's a pity that we still have to continue to run naked next week.
