Hello past readers. You may be wondering why everything has changed. I'm editing the current 3 chapters. I did say I would edit them only when I completed the first arc, but I was so disgusted by their writing and length and I also had a lot of new ideas. And after reading it again, it is still as horrible. If it's not too much of a change, I will include .1-something not infinity behind the V.
A.N: This story is meant to be a self-insert (most of the time) and is a wish fulfillment story. Credits to Mojang for creating Minecraft and the creator of the mods that I will be using/expanding on/changing/inspired by. So thanks for that. ANYWAYS, let's get started...

(Alex's POV)
Hi. My name is Alex Ben Jones. I am your average weeb that enjoys anime and video games. My favorite game is Minecraft and I've played it since version Alpha was released. Nowadays, I rarely play vanilla; opting instead to play modded. Once in a while, I always try/create a kitchen sink modpack and dedicate all of my remaining free time to it.
And despite all of the sweating/grinding I do, I have a girlfriend; a beautiful one at that. She's currently my ex, but we got married two years ago, so that's nice I guess. She's what you would call a trust fund kid, as her parents had died in a car crash after she was born. They left her an inheritance of millions.
She was mainly raised by her uncle and aunt, who was actually caring and supportive unlike most other people in the same situation. Sarah and I met in college in Computer Engineering class; and that's where we bonded, video games and coding. We went on to get married at a rather fancy beachside outing near Beverly Hills. We went on to have three kids and luckily, she also had an interest in modded Minecraft and video games/anime in general, so our relationship never broke down.
And life was good. Until something happened, a thing that to this day that I cannot explain, but it did still happen. I was coding a mod that would simulate realistic dialogue in NPC's with the help of my nerdy friend, James. While testing the mod, we stumbled upon an 'anomaly'.
This 'anomaly' was a villager in a village near spawn; the 'anomaly' was normal except for the fact that it talked back to us! And you may be asking "Aren't you creating a mod that allows you to talk with NPC's?". Yes, I was, but I created a list of dialogue for the NPC's to choose from, and the 'anomaly' was using dialogue that I had never used.
My friend thought it was just a glitch or a malfunction, but I begged to differ. I asked it a question that would set off a chain reaction greater than anything I could possibly imagine.
"Who are you?"
"I am an artificial intelligence stuck in a stupid block game."
We both screamed like little girls at the top of our lungs, so much so that it attracted the attention of my wife, who was roleplaying with the kids. She was of course, skeptical like all sensible humans would do. But after asking it some more questions and showing our code, she was fully convinced.
With the help of Sarah and James, I (somehow) managed to extract it out of the game and place it into Blender. It had a mind of it's own, as it walked around the simulation exploring it's surroundings. We were all excited; frankly anyone would be, but reality came crashing down on us like a speeding train. For all we could know, we were helping Skynet or AM to take over the world.
So we had a long talk, a really, REALLY, long talk about what we would do with it. There were several ideas ranging from just deleting it to world domination (courtesy of my friend). But after a few hours and asking the AI to give it's own ideas/opinions, we settled on a resolution.
My wife would bring the AI to a trusted university (she had some connections) to do research on and deem if it was safe enough for commercial use. The scientists would release the AI to public as their own creation and gain fame and glory, all while he, his wife and his friend would become rich and live a happy and quite life. It was a win-win situation for everyone.
Sarah brought a copy of the AI to dozens of universities and swore them all to secrecy. It was risky, yes, but it worked. In just two years the AI had been approved by the United Nations Security Council. The AI was used in just about every sector you could think of. Medicine, technology, even video games! It revolutionized human technology, and made life easier and saved millions of people. Then, tragedy struck.
While on a usual drive home, my car was hit by a speeding semi-truck. It rolled many times before landing on the side of a road. I had bought a bulletproof car a few months back just in case something like this happened, so he was only minorly injured.
"F**king sh*t." I said as I took off my seatbelt to call the ambulance.
Then, I heard something loud and- his life had ended, then and there as another semi-truck went off the road and hit my already damaged car. It was painless, but tragic nonetheless. I was told I was better off dead anyways, because my body was beyond broken. You may be wondering HOW I know this information even though I was supposed to be dead. And then that's when I met 'it'...

A.N: I was listening to 'Can You Hear The Music?' while writing this LOL. Also I got inspired by 'The Egg'.
'Where... where am I?' I asked no one in particular as I got up and looked around the place I was in. It was a white void, surrounded by more white; and that's all of the words I could use to describe it. I looked around for a few minutes, wondering about a lot of things before I locked 'eyes' (it had no eyes) with a being that had probably been waiting for some time.
"Uh... hi?" I asked the thing, which seemed to be a humanoid with no distinct features and made entirely of light. Despite this, I could still see it's expression, which was of amusement.
"Alex, it is extremely rude to call a goddess a mere thing. I am much more, much more, more than your puny mind could possibly comprehend," She said with a chuckle, "and yes, I can read your mind, so don't go talking behind my back."
He had made many mistakes; however insulting a goddess was one he was not expecting. Out all of the things I could say, of all of the words, of all of the sentences, I probably said the worst one possible.
"B*tch why should I care?" I said with a smirk, then I realized what had come out of my mouth and began to panic.
"A feisty one, huh? Don't worry, I won't disintegrate you into atoms, even though I could." She added quickly as she saw my panicking face with a giggle.
i breathed out a sigh of relief before asking the goddess what his mind had been pestering him about. "Where am I? And my kids... my wife."
"That's what I like to see, thinking of your loved ones first. Don't worry, your wife and the kid survived. She named him Alex Junior in memory of you. The last person I reincarnated didn't even have a single thought about his dying mother. HAH! I made sure to give him the worst luck possible. And as for your first question, this is the afterlife, at least by your definition." She replied instantly.
His brain instantly reacted when he heard 'reincarnation'. I had always dreamed of reincarnating into another world, either because he wanted to have fun or just that he didn't want to die.
"Am I going to get reincarnated? Where, when, and why?" I asked in rapid succession.
"Yes you are. And you're gonna choose, yourself. However I know what you will choose already, so no need to waste time. You want to get reincarnated into modded Minecraft combined with Ardonia (Alex's worldbuilding project), don't you." So this is definitely not a dream nor an illusion, because I was just about to say that.
She continued. "As for why, it's simply because I'm bored. There's only so many new things an all-knowing, omnipotent goddess can try out."
"Wait. If you're all-knowing, won't you know how things will play out for me?" I asked with a confused tone, "also is that how you ACTUALLY look?"
"Yes, but I can prevent my mind from seeing the future about you. As for your other question; yesn't. This is not my ACTUAL or alternative form, it's just how I choose to look like. I am omnipotent after all."
"Touché." I faked a French accent.
"So do you want to go in blind/powerless or do you want to ask some questions-"
"What kind of question is that? Of course I have some questions! What mods are we using? Where am I gonna get reincarnated at and when? How long are the days? What's your human fo-"
"Woah calm down there, man. Let's do this steadily and work our way up. The world has a lot of mods that you're familiar with; yes even 1.7 and 1.20 mods. It also includes some mods I have created by myself to blend them all together/make your experience better. You can choose where or when you want to get reincarnated into. Just don't reincarnate at the Rukh Empire after the Great Northern War, I checked what would've happened if you stayed alive and continued working on that; all I'll tell you is that everything went to complete sh*t. The days are still 24 hours. You can of course skip it by sleeping, but what seems like seconds for you is still eight hours for everyone else. As for my human form, let me show you."
After saying the final few words, she snapped her hands and instantly her 'body' (if it could even be called that) turned into dust and reformed into a beautiful woman in her late 20s with pale skin, blonde hair, blue eyes, a perfect hourglass figure and dare I say; some hips and breasts that could compare with gods. But she was a god, so that opinion didn't make sense.
"Can I just say this?," she nodded in a type of way that meant "Go ahead', "you're absolutely stunning."
"Thanks for that. But I'm nothing compared to the Primordial gods; they could make heterosexuals question their gender!" she paused for a few seconds before continuing, "anything else you want to know?"
"Nope, all clear." I said with a hint of excitement. I couldn't believe my dreams were actually coming true.
"Then you can start your journey. Good luck!" She snapped her hands and I felt my vision blur...
