"And why do you bother telling me this?"
"Young master, you're on the list of people whose property got damaged. You're there too...so i thought maybe i should need to inform you about this."
"What?! And you're just telling me now?"
Aki sighed. He was being unreasonable now, but he needed to keep his face, so he seamlessly asked, "So, is there any lead?"
"We've informed the others, and the Yakuza from that area are also helping us search for the culprit…"
"Yakuza? Hah, call me when you find any leads…"
As Aki hung up the call, his expression turned sharp. He looked up just in time to see Kirishima arguing with the girl, who is crouched down nearby, her face hidden but her posture hinting at exhaustion and distress. Kirishima was leaning over her, his voice a harsh whisper as he muttered something about responsibility, this and that.
"Say, do you want to sell your body?" Kirishima sneered, causing Aki to narrow his eyes.
"What are you saying?" the girl murmured, hearing her fiancé talking about selling her body.
Aki was puzzled, hearing their conversation. From the way it looks, this girl might be a female lead or a side character from an unknown anime. "I know, this kind of plot, it always has the heroine or the MC's girlfriend needing desperate help, and the main character of the story jumps in at the last moment. From what I can think of, Kirishima is the villain here, and he's an abusive boyfriend or lover to this girl..."
"Well, she is beautiful, but I only like the girls I know from anime. If she's one of those girls from anime I haven't watched, it'll at least make a good collection of memories."
"Kirishima," Aki called out, his voice low but cutting through the alley's tense silence.
Kirishima turned, annoyed by the interruption. "What, aren't you gone yet?" he spat.
Aki ignored the bitterness in Kirishima's voice, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Sell her."
Kirishima's lips twisted in anger. "Are you kidding me? She's my fiancée."
"So what?" Aki shrugged. "You just said you're not interested. If that's the case, hand her over to me."
Kirishima straightened, fists clenched, a mocking grin on his face. "Are you out of your mind? Even though she's no use to me, she's still my property," he growled, stepping closer to Aki and grabbing his collar.
"She is your property, that's why I'm asking the price, you dumbass," Aki said, swiftly releasing himself from Kirishima's grip by tripping him and removing his jacket.
Aki's gaze didn't waver. "That's exactly why I'm asking—name your price, you idiot."
Kirishima's grip tightened, but Aki didn't flinch. He swiftly freed himself from the hold, tripping Kirishima with a quick, controlled movement. His eyes didn't leave Kirishima as he calmly slipped off his jacket and prepared for a confrontation.
Veins pulsed up on Kirishima's head. "Oh, so that's how it is, huh? Nice, nice. Then whoever wins in a fight gets to take her to their bed today," Kirishima proclaimed.
Aki raised an eyebrow, sensing Kirishima's usual arrogance. "Oh, so she's actually a virgin?" he asked, tauntingly. "Didn't expect that from someone like you."
Kirishima bristled, rage flashing in his eyes. "I was just about to break off the engagement, but you know what? I think I'll keep her. Just to spite you."
"Is that so?" Aki replied nonchalantly. "Then… how about 5 million yen?"
Kirishima's fist shot toward Aki, a hard swing that would have knocked most people back. But Aki anticipated it, blocking it with a swift knee. He smirked, his tone provoking, "What, too low? Alright, 6 million."
Kirishima's expression hardened. He launched a series of strikes in rapid succession, each blow hitting harder than the last. But Aki deflected each one, the clash of their fists intensifying with every movement.
Kirishima growled, his punches growing more desperate. Aki side-stepped him, his tone amused. "Maybe… 8 million?"
Kirishima threw a sharp kick, aiming for Aki's torso, but Aki dodged skillfully, using his weight to his advantage. He barely touched the ground before launching a quick counterstrike, brushing Kirishima's side with a well-aimed kick. Each blow and taunt only seemed to fuel Kirishima's frustration.
Making distance,"Mou, can't we just talk this out?" Aki teased, grinning as he blocked another punch. "How about we go up to 15, 16, 17… maybe 20 million yen?" Aren't your family like that? In front of money, you all can do anything."
"Money can solve everything, Shijo's princess," Kirishima sarcastically exclaimed.
"No, no, you're wrong. It can, if I had enough, that is..." Aki said, charging forward.
Kirishima tried to block the flying kick, but he lost his balance and was already lying on the ground.
"You haven't learned.... Only brute force cannot win a fight," Aki said. His action seemed like he was going to kick Kirishima in the chest, but instead, he went for his leg while the kirishima was covering his own view.
Aki's face remained calm, almost challenging. "Guess you don't have enough of it, then. How about 50 million?"
Kirishima was breathing hard, his frustration mounting. He knew had lost, yet Aki's calm gaze seemed to mock him. Dusting himself off, he finally relented. "Fine. You want her that badly? Then Transfer the money, first."
"Oh? Giving up already?" Aki quipped, but he pulled out his phone and transferred the amount with a single click. "There. Done."
A notification dinged on Kirishima's phone. He checked it, smirking as he confirmed the funds. "Well then, Princess of the Shijo's family… I hope you're ready to handle the fallout of this mess."
"Hah?" Aki thought, Am I in some kind of mess now? Of course, I should be. I should've guessed when Kirishima said she was his fiancée. How could a normal girl be the fiancée of a Yakuza?
Kirishima chuckled darkly. "The girl you're so keen on buying? She's the granddaughter of the Somei Group. You'd better be ready for the consequences." With that, he turned, waving mockingly as he walked away. "Good luck. She's a boring girl anyway; enjoy your new 'prize,' Shijo and let's enjoy the war."
This psychopath! Aki gritted his teeth. 'Ah, am I the embodiment of greed? Why am I so greedy when it's related to these girls?.... That's the reason why Corneas got defeated by Subaru…'
Well, there are my loyal anime watchers, who have only one waifu per anime, like having thought of Rem while dreaming Hinata sleeping on Esdeath bedsheet… What a lot of bullshit! What do they call 'loyal'?
Eh, I'm going off on some other out-of-the-world topic. Let's return to reality. "Are you going off like that? Won't you take her? You came with her, right?" Aki asked Kirishima.
"Nah, I'm not responsible for that woman anymore," Kirishima said.heading out of the alley. Then suddenly he exclaimed, "Sigh, I just want to rest!"

Yoshino felt like she was in a daze, processing the surreal fight she'd just witnessed. Her mind spun with disbelief, her gaze flitting between Aki and the place where Kirishima had just been. They had argued, fought, and even put a price on her head—millions, just tossed around as if she were a commodity.
She glanced up at Aki, her thoughts racing. What kind of person buys someone like that? And how could Kirishima—my own fiancé—treat me like an object to be traded? Her chest tightened in frustration and humiliation.
As she took in the whole scene, a bitter thought crossed her mind. Are all Tokyo boys like this? Is everyone in the city this heartless and calculating? Her eyes flickered with disappointment, anger, and a touch of shame.
And then there was Aki, standing there with an expression she couldn't quite read. In some twisted way, he had "won" her, and she didn't know if that was any better than Kirishima simply discarding her. The casual way he'd thrown out money, raising the amount like it was nothing, left her feeling hollow. Does he even see me as a person? Or am I just… another prize?
Her thoughts settled into a quiet resolve as she looked away. If this is how city life is—if I'm just a token to be passed around—then maybe the simple country life was better. She felt her respect for Kirishima plummet, and whatever she might have thought about Aki was tainted by the way he'd wagered money on her existence.
Taking a breath, Yoshino glanced at Aki once more, her voice steady. "Are you satisfied? Does buying me make you feel proud?"
Aki turned, caught off guard by her words. But she didn't wait for an answer. Instead, she cast one last glance back and spoke, "I don't care about what happened today, and I'm not responsible for your money. I'm going back home tomorrow."
