The two groups stood and just... stared at each other.
On one side, a small group of merely eight beings... Each of them was more powerful than even the strongest warriors or the mages of the eastern continent.
On the other hand, there was a huge group with numbers nearing two hundred, that derived their strength from both the numbers and the weapons of said numbers... But also relied on the strength of a few, selected individuals.
Both sides opposed the other politically, militarily, and ideologically. And yet...
"Is that a trap?" The Demon King stepped forth as he ignored Leonidas' raiding party and glanced down at the circle of IEDs, all pointed and directed inwards.
The high-human then raised his eyes and looked at Leo with a hint of amusement in his eyes.
"You really have to try harder than that to get any of my men down."
