Chapter 90 - The Desire to Kill

Looking at who was shooting at them, Dominic carefully aimed and began to open fire. Bullets shot out from the muzzle of his rifle, and almost instantly, the heads of two people exploded in a mist of blood.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Trying to contain the shots coming his way, Dominic advanced slowly, occasionally hearing bullets whistling through the wind right next to him. Seeing that Alicia had driven to his location, Dominic didn't get closer; instead, he moved to the side while continuing to shoot at those people.

Daryl and the others had already started running to support the advance. They all surveyed the situation and began shooting as well, approaching the more exposed people.

At that moment, Glenn and the others had also moved in, firing in all directions from where they believed the enemy was coming.

The initial panic had dissipated. Daryl, alongside Glenn, organized his thoughts, held his rifle, and prepared to attack.

Glenn, beside Daryl, whispered, "Daryl! Let's wait here; we need to guard the rear."

Hearing Glenn's words, Daryl shook his head and continued forward, following Rick, who had also followed Dominic.

Watching Daryl's figure disappear, Glenn could only grit his teeth. He quickly ran to the side of an abandoned truck, raised his rifle, and fired at the people approaching their location.

Dominic, who had advanced alongside Alicia, counted the remaining people, and there should be no fewer than twenty-five, but these people were not a problem as they lacked military training.

In this situation, combat experience, equipment, and position play a significant role. Right now, Dominic has all of these and doesn't intend to leave this place until he finishes off all his enemies.

"Alicia, just shoot at those approaching from my left; I'll handle advancing," said Dominic as he changed the magazine of his rifle.

"I've got you covered!" Alicia nodded, sweat running down her forehead. Although she was nervous due to their situation, she wasn't afraid of those attacking them.

At that moment, a man ran as if chasing imaginary targets, but Dominic was close, so he pulled a dagger from his vest.

Crack!

With the sound of his head hitting the ground, the figure fell, and Alicia seized the moment to stab her knife into his throat. With a terrified look, the man was stabbed three times, blood spilling from his mouth without making a sound.

From a distance, Dominic spotted another target approaching and raised his rifle.

Bang!

The bullet shot out of the chamber at high speed and flew directly towards the young man running ahead. The shot wasn't aimed at his body but pierced through his head instead.

He raised his hand and shot at the head of the person in front, whose head exploded in a mist of blood, with parts falling to the ground. Just as Dominic was about to head towards the target, he spotted a figure among the crowd that caught his attention.

"Merle?" Dominic now realized who he was attacking—people from the so-called governor, whom he hadn't expected to encounter.

Now knowing who was there, Dominic ran towards him, but not before saying, "Alicia, fall back."

Boom! Boom! Boom!

At least three grenades were launched towards the enemy's trucks, blowing them to pieces.

Seeing all his men being massacred, Merle turned and was about to leave, but at that moment, Dominic emerged from the other end and took him down.

"What the hell are you doing?"

Dominic was in full combat gear, making his appearance unrecognizable. Under this guise, he attacked Merle, who tried to shoot him.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Bullets whizzed past Dominic without harming him, thanks to his special helmet. Taking advantage of this, he locked Merle in a hold, and within seconds, Merle was completely unconscious.

"Keep advancing." Dominic heard a voice and raised his gun, but at that moment, Rick and Daryl appeared, aiming in his direction.

"Brother?" Daryl was stunned to see his brother alive and well, albeit with the possibility of him being dead.
