Chapter 6 - F

44 looks up at 42 with a calm stare as if trying to discern what is beyond 42's mind.

"I have a question I want to ask, 44... Do you believe our whole purpose to live is to be perfection itself?" 42 questions as he brought his eyes to the chaos filling the room.

Blood of young hare splattering on the grey wall and furniture, reminding 42 of the true Nature of the Nursery.

"I believe that's the goal of the Nursery, as selfish and foolish as that sounds, we have been fed lies that we can become perfect ourselves..."

44 shrugged off his question with a seemingly laxed answer.

42 smiled "Perfection will never be a thing but can you can cope your achievement with that of perfection. We humans tend to never be content with our current achievements."

44 raised an eyebrow. "So you intend on leaving? giving in to weakness that the motives here is unachievable.?"

44 asked curiously with interest, as this is the first time a subject here had the same sentiment as him towards the twisted goal of the Nursery.

"Oh please, I'm no coward, I'd rather be normal and free than be a tool... a cattle in this farm, hoping to achieve a fable dream of 'perfection "

"I see..." Was all 44 could say.

"My goal as of now is to test the world of this Nursery version of perfection, no bottlenecks, no inconsistency, just pire efficiency and quality." 42 had a tilted head at what 44 just said.

"Quite interesting... How about I taste my resolve, if you win this fight I get my freedom, but if it's the other way round..."

42 came to a pause in his sentence... but continued. "Then your goals will never come to fruition."

44 with his calm and calculated look morphed to that of abyss filled in his eyes and disdain riddled in his face.

"I accept"
