Connor and I tried to busy ourselves as we waited. We hopped on my motorcycle, put our helmets on, and before Connor drove off, I wrapped my arms around his waist. See, we were going on a snack run. One, because we had run out of snacks in the dorms, two, because everyone had wanted something, and three, it would keep the both of us busy.

We came to a stop at a red-light, and we both got off, then stretched. After a minute, I went over to Connor, and messed with the visor of his helmet, flipping it up. He scowled at me playfully, and flipped the visor back down. However, I flipped it back up. This process repeated a few times before another motorcycle rider pulled up, but I was too busy messing with Connor to actually notice. He flipped his visor back down. I went to flip it up again, but before I could, he wrapped his arms around my waist, and lifted me off the ground a little, pressing my back against his chest. At the sudden action, I let out a surprised gasp, and playfully tried to struggle away. "Oh, no you don't, love. You aren't going anywhere." Before I could protest, another voice spoke up. "You both make a cute couple, I have to admit." I looked over, and to the left, seeing another motorcycle rider. The bike itself was both orange and green, and I had to admit, it looked awesome. The one riding it wore all black leather, and I couldn't blame them, since it was a bit chilly. Their helmet, however, caught my attention. It was a fuzzy, red helmet, and it also had bunny ears sticking up from its base. The visor on it read Ride or Die. I found that a little amusing, secretly. "Oh-well, thank you, uh..." I said, realizing we hadn't gotten the drivers name. They then flipped up their visor, revealing tan skin, blue eyes that seemed to glow in the sun, and a bit of blonde hair was peeking through the helmet. "Names Oliver. It's nice to finally meet some fellow bikers." Connor's arms around me tightened a little, a bit protectively, and I silently wondered why, but I acted like I didn't notice. However, Oliver's eyes caught the movement quickly before they went back to us. "And you two are?" "I'm Shelly, and this is Cameron." I lied easily. What? If Connor's grip had gotten a bit tighter, and protective, then something was up, clearly. Better not to give personal information right now. Oliver studied me for a minute, and I could tell he was looking for any signs of deceit. But I had always been a good liar. So, I kept my body relaxed in Connors arms, and after a minute, Oliver spoke. "Nice to meet you both." "It's nice to meet you, too." Connor and I said in sync, and I gave a slight chuckle. Then, everyone fell silent, and a bit of tension started to fill the air. But, after a few minutes, the light turned green, so Connor and I hopped on-with me driving this time, because we agreed to take turns-and once his arms were around me, and the cars took off, I did, too, and we were headed to the store once more.

Once we got inside, I looked up at Connor, but he spoke before I could ask anything. "It's nothing to worry about, I promise. I just got a bit protective, since it was another guy." However, I could tell he was lying, but I didn't press the matter. As much as it worried me to leave it alone, I wanted my boyfriend to be comfortable. And clearly, he wasn't comfortable talking about the whole thing back there. "Ok...but hey, let's go get all those snacks, yeah?" I decided to change the subject, figuring he could use a break from whatever was going on in that mind of his.
