For a while, I continued to lay there, still running my hand through Willaim's hair in the hopes of comforting and soothing him. I also continued to try, and catch my breath, my legs still on fire. The impact had been so unexpected, it seemed, that there was now a possibility of my legs being broken. And we'd fallen from a pretty high distance. But after a few minutes, I slowly sat up, and set Willaim down on the sand so he could stand. I looked at my legs, but they seemed to be fine. Not twisted, no bones poking out, nothing. I reached my hand down, and poked my legs, but it didn't hurt. I breathed a sigh of relief. "Shelby? I thought you said you were ok...." I stood, and gave Willaim a smile, extending my hand out to him. "Yeah, the impact had my legs burning. But don't worry, I'm fine." He took my hand, and nodded, so I looked around. "First things first, we need a way out of here. I'd shadow-travel again, but it takes away my energy." I continued looking for an exit-until I spotted three figures standing in front of the doors, all dressed in hooded cloaks, seemingly waiting for something.
