4000 years ago,a mysterious energy burst gave humans abilities but in order to use their abilities they need to awaken them. The humans with abilities were called the evolved ones while the humans without it were simply called humans.
The evolved ones with a good heart were trained on how to use their abilities properly, and to protect Atlantian kingdom, from the ones that use their abilities for evil.
But the world changed again when a portal appeared, and a gigantic lizard like creature with wings came out of it. It's obsidian scales gleaming in the sunlight. Its wings the size of sails beat the air with a thunderous sounds. A deafening roar echoed through the kingdom, shaking the very foundations of the buildings.
Panic erupted as the creature rampaged through the streets. Its massive claws tore through buildings like paper, leaving a trial of destruction in its wake. People screamed and fled in terror, desperately seeking shelter from the monstrous beast.
Some with brave spirit, tried to defeat this creature using their most powerful attack, but they failed, the evolved ones attack did not even scratch the creature's body.
The evolved ones unleashed their most potent attacks. Blazing infernos erupted, yet the creature remained unscathed. Despair etched itself onto their faces. A collective gasp escaped the crowd as the realization settled in. Their defenses were useless.
A sudden silence fell upon the city. All eyes turned towards the sky as a figure, materialized from a swirl of shimmering light. He landed gracefully on a rooftop, his presence radidated with immense power. His aura a swirling vortex of energy, mirrored the creature's own in intensity, though its colour was different.
The monstrous lizard turned its head, it's eyes narrowing at Zeru. A low growl rumbled in its throat, a sound that seemed to vibrate the very air. The creature has met its match, and a tense standoff commenced.
Zeru battled the creature without holding back his power, they fought without taking a break until finally Zeru defeated the creature but he died while trying to save Atlantian kingdom.

"Where did the creature come from" A young boy asked laying on his mother's lap.
"Oh you mean the dragon?....well no one knows my dear but I am glad Zeru defeated the dragon" His mother said while she touches her son's black hair.
"I want to be as strong as Zeru ...no! I want to be stronger than him I will become the strongest one in history" The boy said with determination in his eyes.
His mother looks at him with a smile on her face and proceeds to kiss him on his cheek.
"Let's go to bed Aiden" She said.
Aiden heyes, a 13 year old boy lives with his family in a small town that is located outside the borders of Atlantian kingdom. Aiden's parents are not rich, like the nobles out there who lives in luxuries and so on. His father Dauris heyes is a hunter and a farmer, while his mother Dina heyes is a healer, an evolved one. She also helps her husband along with their daughter Freya to work in the farm, his parents worked almost everyday in order to provide at least 3 square meals a day.
Aiden wants to be a hero just like Zeru, though he has not awakened his abilities, he believes he can achieve his goal with or without his abilities.
Aiden frequently cross paths with bullies who harassed younger kids, and he never hesitated to face them head-on. Despite his efforts, Aiden frequently returned home with his body covered in painful bruises. His parents warned him to stay away from bullies but Aiden insisted he was doing what a hero would do, which bought a small smile on his mother Dina's face. But his father Dauris disagreed.
Freya Aiden's older sister, was not to be trifled with. Bullies steered clear of her, knowing she wouldn't hesitate to defend herself and others. At 17 years of old, Freya was an expert in hand-to-hand combat, and she had taken it upon herself to secretly train Aiden in the art of fighting. During one of their training sessions, Aiden asked her where she had learned her impressive skills, but Freya shrugged her shoulders and claimed that it was a hidden talent of hers.
Sweat dripping from his forehead, Aiden bent over and gasped for air, his chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath. Freya crossed her arms and waited for him to recover from their intense training, outside their house. Each time he attempts a surprise attack, she blocks or dodges, evading it. The bullies that beat him to a pulp wield no abilities, what happens if he encounters one with abilities he wondered, this drives Aiden to push his body to the very limit. Freya nudged Aiden's butt sending him to the ground.
"What was that for! I wasn't ready!!" Aiden looked at her in anger.
"That was training, get up worm" Freya said nonchalantly.
"This time i'll be the one attacking."
"Crazy woman" Aiden murmured.
"Say what?"
"Nothing" Aiden said quickly, shaking his head.
Hmm, i see well are you gonna fight while sitting on the ground? Get up jelly! come on!" Freya fired off her taunt without a second thought.
"What are you doing Freya?" Dauris said.
Oh! Ehm I ehm w- we were playing hide and seek I guess you're the winner Aiden" Freya stammered.
Dauris folded his arms and looked at Freya straight in the eyes.
"I'm sorry father i-i was training Aiden I ehm wanted to.....
"That's enough" Dauris cuts in.
" I know the reason why you're training Aiden, he wants to be a so called hero huh? Now let me tell you something, there are lot of things out there that you cannot face on your own in other words, you will get killed.
"But I can get...
"ENOUGH! AIDEN! I forbid you from training with Freya, let this be the last time you train with your sister, you are going to live an ordinary life, just like everyone in this town till you die. Do you understand me?" Dauris said in anger.
Tears begin to gather in Aiden's eyes, he quickly enters the house and shut the door behind him, Dauris took a deep breath and walked away to clear his head.
10 minutes later....
"Aiden it's me Freya ..... Aiden?"
Freya slowly opens Aiden's room door only to see Aiden in front of her, he quickly hugs Freya tightly, tears begin to gather his eyes again.
" I just w- wanted to save and protect people just like Zeru, I wanted to become as strong as him, he did a lot for humanity, and I want to do the same." Aiden said trying to hold back his tears.
""Aiden please try and understand, father is just being overprotective you know he....
"No!" Aiden suddenly stopped hugging Freya.
"He is just jealous that I will achieve something greater than him in the future." Aiden said without a second thought.
In a split second, Aiden's eyes turned into a glowing blue one, and immediately reverted back to its original black eyes.
"What was that? Is that an ability? Freya thought, trying to figure out what just happened.
Meanwhile, Dauris is chopping a huge pile of wood with an axe.
"You went too far Dauris" Dina said while folding her arms.
"I had no choice!" Dauris let go of his axe and approaches her, he grabbed Dina's shoulder and looked at her in the eyes.
"I want what is best for Aiden, you know that, if he goes to that academy he might awaken....
"I know..... I know but you would have told him everything, I'm sure Aiden will understand why you're doing this". Dina said.
"Everything? No Dina I can't do that, I want him to live a normal life, I want him to be safe, If I tell him everything, it will only make his determination stronger you know how he is, he will try and prove his strength."Dauris said with a smile on his face.
"Just like the bear" They both said laughing.
"I think you should settle with him" Dina said.
"Yeah I will let me...
AHHHHHHHHH !!!!! A woman shouted at the top of her lungs.
RUN! Everyone RUN!! A man shouted.
Lots of people came out of their houses, trying to understand what caused the sudden outburst of the man and woman until they saw it.
A jet black humanoid creatures with claws coming out of a purple portal. It has no eyes and nose but a razor sharp teeth.
Everyone except Dauris family ran as fast as they could without looking back as the humanoid creatures approaches them.
Meanwhile, Dauris is confused with the people's sudden movements. A man in his mid thirties ran towards Dauris house, he stopped his tracks and quickly approaches Dauris.
"Mr Dauris y- you need to r- run away, take your family with you, the shadow beasts t-their here I don't know how i- I just j-just run!" The man said in panic, trying to catch his breath.
The man left Dauris house immediately, Dauris looks at Dina and she nodded, understanding the situation.
"Aiden! Freya! Come out now! Hurry! Dina shouted.
Aiden sprinted towards his mother, his heart pounding in his chest. But before he could reach her, a dark shape surged from the shadows. A horrifying silence descended, broken only by a sickening thud. Aiden skidded to a halt, his breath catching in his throat.
Dina's body slowly fell on the ground revealing one of the shadow beasts behind her, with a huge smile on it's face.
