Chapter 108 - Chapter 108

The receptionist's face lit up with excitement, grinning at Faye, "Faye, this ain't no ordinary kid. He's Mr. Sinclair's nephew, sharp as a tack. I just had a chat with him, and his brains blew me away. He asked me, "How many letters are left in the alphabet if you take away UFO?' I said 23, but I was wrong. The answer was a real shocker, Faye, wanna know what it is?"

"Holy moly, whose kid is this? He's just too cute."

"Right? He's just so adorable. And that little boy over there, doesn't he look just like Mr. Sinclair?"

As the group descended the staircase, a chorus of gasps and murmurs rippled through the staff gathered below. Eyes widened in astonishment, and whispers of admiration filled the air like a soft breeze. The children's striking good looks seemed to captivate everyone in the vicinity, earning them an abundance of compliments that echoed off the walls of the grand foyer.

One by one, members of the staff stepped forward to express their awe and appreciation, unable to resist the urge to shower the youngsters with praise. Each compliment was like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, warming their hearts and lifting their spirits in the midst of uncertainty.

Amidst the flurry of compliments, a few observant souls couldn't help but notice the uncanny resemblance between Atticus and Lysander. Their shared features, from the curve of their jawlines to the intensity of their gazes, sparked whispers of intrigue and speculation among the onlookers.

"It's uncanny, isn't it?" remarked one staff member, casting a curious glance in their direction. "They could almost pass for twins."

Another nodded in agreement, a thoughtful expression crossing their face. "Indeed. Perhaps they share more than just their striking good looks."

The revelation only served to deepen the mystery surrounding the enigmatic duo, leaving the staff intrigued and eager to learn more about the young newcomers who had suddenly graced their halls with their presence.

Faye was getting more and more anxious. She couldn't let these two kids hang around here any longer. They needed to leave immediately.

Faye suppressed her impatience, trying to keep her cool as she asked, "What's the answer?"

The receptionist was all excited and said, 'UFO took ET as well! Dorian is really amazing, his performance skills are top-notch, so is his way with words."

At this, Faye's face turned even grimmer, thinking these people were so childish.

She had been outwitted twice by a four-year-old!

Faye's face turned different shades of red from anger.

With a sharp, decisive tone, her words cut through the tension like a knife through butter. "The Sinclair group is not some playground for your amusement," she asserted, her voice tinged with authority and a hint of exasperation. "I simply don't have the luxury of indulging in games with any of you."

Her gaze swept across the room, her eyes resting momentarily on each individual, daring them to challenge her resolve. "If you're inquiring about Thalassa," she continued, her voice unwavering, "you'll find her whereabouts at the police station. That's where you should direct your inquiries."

The weight of her words hung heavy in the air, a stern reminder of the seriousness of their situation. Each syllable carried with it a sense of finality, leaving no room for negotiation or debate. It was clear that she meant business, and anyone foolish enough to cross her would undoubtedly face the consequences.
