The teachers were explaining the behavior and the environment of the magical beasts when suddenly a boy came and said, "Ms. Karen, the headmaster is calling all the teachers. He says that it is urgent".
The teachers than headed to the mansion while all the students were in the training grounds with the beasts. James had also told Sato and the four of them were positioned near each group.
Then a dark hand just like from dark handling emerged from the shadow of the cage near the members of white wave. The hand opened the cage and vanished. Suddenly a huge transparent barrier surrounded the whole field and mansion. Although nobody noticed it. Then suddenly all the goblins from each cage broke free and a havoc broke in the field.
Meanwhile in the headmaster's office all the teachers were present and Mr. Thalius was drinking a lemonade and looking at them he said, "What is the matter?". Ms. Karen said, "Haven't you called us here?". Mr. Thalius nodded in the negative and then they all heard. the screams of the students from the training grounds.
The glass dropped from his hand and he tried to activate the teleportation spell but failed. Mr. Gon said, "Our magic is not working sir". Mr. Thalius replied, "Looks like an anti-magic field". Then Ms. Tuna, the homeroom teacher of the white wave muttered, "B- But the students now c-can't use magic". Mr. King replied, "Don't worry Tuna, they can handle themselves, I hope". Then all the teachers rushed at the direction of the training grounds.
In the training grounds many students were afraid and running and those who wanted to fight, they were not able to use magic. James yelled to everyone, "Everybody! Use your weapons!". Then the students started fighting. Mainly the fighting ones were James, Ryan, Sato and Tera. For the rest this was their first encounter or they were not good in
using melee weapons.
James noticed that the members of Black Blaze were also in chaos as much as the rest of the group. He cut down a goblin in two pieces that was rushing at a tripped girl. She muttered, "T-Thank you". James said, "Don't mention it. Now Hurry and head to the mansion!". The number of goblins was deteriorating at a slower pace and their stamina was decreasing faster.
James looked around and thought, "Where is Adam?! If he was here there would be no problem. But he is not here and at this rate our stamina will run out". All of the students were tired and there were still some goblins remaining. Kai had tightly held Hana's hand and they were running in the direction of the mansion. Suddenly they were stopped by some goblins. Most of the members of white wave
didn't use melee weapons and this was true for Hana but Kai used gauntlets. However,
this was his first month and he solely focused on magic. All the melee fighters were at a great distance and Kai had no choice but to ready himself for a fight. He took a stance and moved forward. He knocked one goblin at a distance but still due to lack of experience the goblins knocked him out and he felt fainted on the ground. Hana muttered, "B-Brother!". Now the goblins started to move
towards Hana.
Hana slowly moved backwards but tripped to a stone and fell on the grassy field. She
thought, "Oh God! Help us". Suddenly all the students heard a loud cracking sound and they looked upwards. There was a barrier in the sky but it was cracking. Then the barrier filled with cracks and then disappeared. One of the goblins jumped in the direction of Hana and she closed her eyes and braced
herself. But then suddenly Hana's shadow started emitting energy and from it emerged Adam who cut down all the goblins in front of him with a huge swing of his scythe. James looked at it and yelled, "Everybody! Now we can use magic! Help us finish them!". Then the students started to chant different magic and destroyed the remaining goblins. Adam looked back and saw Hana lying on the floor while looking at him. He moved his hand in the direction of Hana and said, "Are you okay?". Hana was still immensely. looking at him and without her knowing she moved her hand forward and grabbed his hand. While on the other hand his brother woke up but was pressed under the corpses of
goblins.
But when he saw Hana giving her hand to Adam he yelled in a very loud voice, "NOOOOO!!!!". However, he was too late.
