Looking at the new Ninjutsu section in the system, Shishui nodded to himself. His main body was currently in the dice room a kilometer above his house. It had been a week since he had been living in his dice floating room/base and he still found it enjoyable.
He had the white spots of the dice become transparent, allowing him to view the scenery all around. He could see the hokage mountain in the distance with the three hokage faces on it along with the rest of Konoha and its large circular walls that surround it.
It wasn't as impressive as it was when the series first started as it was still in the beginning stages and was barely more than three decades old. That's younger then the many trees around it.
It looked more like a big town rather then a 'village'. He could also sense the giant barrier around konoha that extended from the walls upwards in a semi circular fashion. He sensed it because he had passed through it without causing any alarm or fluctuations. The nature powered concealment was undetectable it seems.
Now he had the idea to expand his dice base, to get more nature energy as well as more room to move in. Since he was in the sky and didn't want to take dirt or stone from the dice, he used his nature energy to make a 5 cm dice with similar appearance again.
He headed to the one white dot on the dice and had it turned into a circular hole. After floating through it and staying a few meters aways from the main dice, he put the barriers for concealment, size and storage onto the second dice. Then he expended 29 units of his nature energy into the dice and used it to quickly expand the inside of the dice to be the same as the previous one.
This continued untill it had become the same size as the other dice. Then he had the one dots of both dice connect, along with making sure their barriers still worked fine separately. Then he added the finishing touches by making this dice similar to kitchen with one side having a kitchen counter, empty at the moment, and the other side having a very elaborate and antiquely designed set of chair and table.
He added the necessary lighting to the room and went inside it by opening a hole on one of the white spots. It was still missing appliances and food but it looked as good as any kitchen would. He was down to 58 in his nature energy reserves, meaning to extend his base by another dice, he'd need to expend 31 units of his nature energy.
Seeing as how a week's worth of nature energy could only give him three new rooms made him a bit upset, so as any smart person would do in this situation, he chose to abuse his shadow clones.
Like how Naruto had used them to store sage chakra, he'd do the same for nature energy. There was a problem of only having one shadow clone, since the Jutsu had a minimum requirement to it.
Going by Senju Tobirama's thoughts on it, this was just so the clone could perform some Jutsus before running out of chakra and popping. Since he had Tobirama's knowledge on the making of said Jutsu, he could lower the minimum requirement down to where although the clone won't be able to do a simple transformation Jutsu, it could still absorb nature energy with what little chakra it had.
He could make up to 10 clones by distributing 40 chakra to each along with 5 nature energy units to absorb more. Because of the low chakra, these clones could only last for 10 minutes before popping, thus he thought it better to give more nature energy to get more.
At the cost of 50 units of nature energy and 400 chakra, he made the ten clones appear before him, without the smoke as he used Tobirama's knowledge to remove that part.
All ten clones sat down and began spreading nature energy tendrils around them, instead of running it along their body, they stored it along with using it to get more nature energy as well.
After ten minutes, the clones were dispelled silently. When the clones were pushing out tendrils and taking in the surrounding nature energy from the dice and absorbing it, he noticed a great decrease in the nature energy in the dice.
He got about 300 chakra along with 70 nature energy boosting his reserve to 78 units. At the cost of 100 chakra he had gotten 20 nature energy which by itself was an excellent trade off, in 10 minutes no less. It seems that he'll have to mess with the timeline a little bit to get more chakra, since more chakra to more clones to more nature energy.
The fatigue brought back by the clones was minimal as they all didn't move or do any other thing then get nature energy, also because his mind had 6 clones which divided the fatigue down to only requiring a few minutes of rest to get used to.
The Uchiha prison seems to have some ninjas(chakra batteries) in it with life sentences who could use a more better home. Especially the chunins, since the jonins would have seals around and also because the chunins have a larger number and lesser likelyhood of having seals on the prison.
There were only 5 chunins in the prison that were there for life as the rest either got released or were moved to a better and pure place. Shishui didn't feel like personally going into the prison to get them so he did the only natural thing, moving his base to slowly be above the prison.
This took about 20 minutes since he had it float there slowly and enjoyed the view. Once he was above the prison, the Red Dice Ark™ shrunk to 4 cm in size and lowered itself and starting moving into the prison. It was surprisingly or unsurprisingly sparsely guarded.
This could be attributed to either the Uchiha's arrogance or lack of personnel. What he did find out was that the cells had iron bars with large enough gaps in between them, yet none of the prisoners tried to come close to the bars, most kept their distance from it.
Enquiring from the system, he understood why that was the case, the iron bars had a simple fuinjutsu seals derived from explosion tags which could burn to ashes whoever tried to touch the bars or move through them.
Of course it couldn't detect his Red Dice Ark™ since it had a nature energy concealment barrier. After finding the first chunin prisoner, the ship moved through the iron bars and was now a meter from the shackled ninja. Now he had to remove the ninja from the shackles without making a noise or triggering the seal on the prisoner which sent a signal to the guards in charge when the prisoner tried to use chakra.
