Soon enough, they both snapped out of it when the other guy took Lucian's hand as if trying to snap him back into action, which worked fast.
Lucian turned to us with an apologetic look on his face," I promise I'll find a way to get in touch with you, but for now, we need to go, or we will be found and most likely killed by your soon-to-be husband," he said and after saying that, he rushed away with his friend, not sparing us a second glance.
Aurora turned to Irene who looked to be panicking as much as she was, "What do we do? We've been caught! What excuse can we possibly give?" She asked, already starting to panic as the consequences of their actions sank deep into her mind.
"Calm down, that's the first thing you need to do," Irene said, unusually calm, as she tried to help Aurora do the same thing.
