Aurora.
The sight of the setting sun was a reminder that the event that had been in my mind for the longest was about to take place. The knock on my door drew me out of my world of thoughts and signaled that what I had been so fiercely looking forward to was here.
I opened the door and immediately the maids came in, some carried Jewelry, the other silk, and it went on like that. One would think I was preparing for a royal wedding when it was just dinner.
It wasn't Just dinner to me, though. I had decided to let go of my uncertainty and my confusion. This night I could be just a girl with no responsibilities, I could enjoy a night with the king without thinking about the words of that strange voice that won't let me be. I could stop thinking of strategies to help my people get out of here and gain some part of our independence again. I didn't have to be a Queen or anything, I could be just me, Just Aurora.
