The grand office of Marquis Ashwood was bathed in the soft glow of chandeliers as the man sat at the head of a long oak table, flanked by advisors, strategists, and media consultants.
Papers detailing recent governmental failures were strewn across the table. Lord Ashwood leaned back in his chair, his sharp blue eyes scanning the room.
"It's time," he said, his voice smooth but commanding. "The people are angry. Let's give them direction."

Lord Ashwood stood at the podium in a packed conference room. Cameras flashed as journalists hung on his every word. Behind him, a large screen displayed images of Guardian battles: the devastation left by New Dawn, the Enforcer's rampage through Abyssal Hold, and families grieving their losses.
"Ladies and gentlemen," Lord Ashwood began, his voice heavy with disappointment. "What you see here is the result of a government too complacent, too distracted, to prioritize the safety of its people."
