One Sword, stood rooted to the spot with a look of shock. He watched a good part of the competition but for the past two days, repelling the beast invasion had taken up all his time, so he wasn't updated on the happenings of the contest.
'What the hell did those brats do to force the other countries to recall their representatives?' One Sword deeply wanted to blurt out that question.
"For this achievement, you have been reinstated as an A-rated guardian. If you succeed in securing a spot on the world ranking top five, I will hold up the final part of our bargain" Mr. White said, his tone cheerful.
"T-thank you sir!" One Sword felt ecstatic.
Apart from the invasion, everything else seemed to be going in his favor, how could he not be happy?
"The Beast invasion…. I don't know how much longer we can hold out…" One Sword muttered in a timid tone.
