Emperor Hidetaka's eyes twitched at Lucius's words, his facial expression was that of genuine shock. He wanted to ask Lucius who made him the offer but he felt it wasn't his place.
He was amongst those who tried to kill this boy so he had no say in his choice to leave earth, if it was possible.
"I apologize for your experience on earth. I fought because you had the blood of a Xenovian…"
"And now the humans you sided with have brought Xenovians into this planet. How do you feel?" Lucius chipped in, his voice full of mockery.
Emperor Hidetaka could only chuckle at his words, a pang of embarrassment washing through him. He nodded while taking a sip of his liquor, a tinge of regret in his eyes.
"Fine, I admit I made a mistake." Emperor Hidetaka rolled his eyes. "There is no use crying over spilled milk."
"Good!" Lucius said and stretched his hands out at both sides.
