Lucius coughed nervously, wondering why he felt more uncomfortable under Hidetaka's expectant gaze than his murderous intent.
"Eighteen," Lucius mumbled, his voice barely a whisper.
A smile bloomed on Emperor Hidetaka's face as he picked up the jar and refilled Lucius's cup.
"That's good… I was right about this age when I had my first taste of alcohol with your master, Lei Fei." Emperor Hidetaka sighed bitterly before emptying the contents of his teacup and refilling.
Lucius was taken aback because he never knew anything about Lei Fei outside his achievements and defeat.
"So tell me, why did you kill him?" Emperor Hidetaka asked, his gaze calm as it searched Lucius's face for answers.
