The quiet night breeze blew through the empty city, the twin moons casting contrasting colors across the battlefield. Victor stood atop the dark cloud, his dull gaze fixated on Lucius.
He was waiting for Lucius and Lyxor to make a move.
"Lyxor," Lucius's voice made the Xenovian prince flinch.
"Y-yes?" Lyxor stuttered, looking up at Lucius' face.
"I'll lead the charge. Support when you feel comfortable." Lucius shrugged. He had no intention of forcing Lyxor into anything he was uncomfortable with, and this was because he understood his partner better than anyone.
Lyxor was a prince abandoned from birth due to something he had no control over. He had no one to teach him how to be strong, living a life of fear since he knew he would cease to exist and become a part of his brother when the time came.
