Alex adjusted his footwork and sidestepped in time as Black Death lunged at him. Narrowly dodging his claw, Alex threw a quick right hook, but his fist smashed through the haze clone like it never existed.

Blood squirted out from Alex's back as another Black Death took advantage of his distraction and struck.
"Shit!" Alex cursed while glancing around.
All the Black Deaths gathered around the battlefield had bloody claws, even though there was only one real one. With the constant use of Ethereal steps and the aid of the fog, they could go unseen or at least distract their target with their overwhelming numbers.

Alex exhaled deeply as his veins turned purple and began bulging. The bulging veins traced his body, finding its way to his eyes, causing them to turn purple.
