Roman walked towards Alex, and Alex stood up, shaking his hand. "Alex, I didn't know you'd be the one meeting me here," he chuckled.
Alex chuckled as well. "Well, I could say the same. I mean, last time I saw you, you were lifting heavy pillars, and the next thing I hear is my dad saying he has an important friend who needs a car."
"Dad?" Roman questioned, his curiosity piqued.
Alex smiled and said, "Yeah, the man you talked to before is my dad."
Roman didn't expect this turn of events. "So, how's it going at the site? How are the guys doing? How's Robert?" Roman was curious about how things were at his previous job at the construction site.
"They're good, still pushing anyway," Alex replied. "They were surprised when they heard you got fired. Wanted to contact you, but they didn't have your number."
Roman took out a pen and wrote his number on a tissue. "Give it to Robert. Tell him to call me if he ever needs help."
