2nd floor.
A/N: The name of the MC is Julius.
Julius opened his eyes but immediately had to close them because of the bright light from the Sun. Then he tried to slowly open them while covering his eyes with his hand trying to create a shade on them.
Suddenly, a girl's voice echoed through the wheat field, "Mic test! Mic test! One, two, three!" she shouted. "Hello everyone! All the Regulars who have made it to the Tower, we sincerely welcome all of you to the 2nd Floor, Evankhell's Floor. It is also called 'The Floor of Test' because here we carry out the final test to see whether you are qualified to go up the Tower."
He listened carefully as the girl explained the first test. "There are 400 regulars here. Narrow it down to 200. Try every means possible, and the test ends when the number of regulars reaches 200. Begin!"
Julius's face changed expressions as he finally understood where he was, but why he was just a normal school boy who had written a review about the webtoon after reading it.
How can someone be so childish? I had just written a review even if it was a little too much, it is called the freedom of speech. No one just transmigrates you into the world of fantasy without telling you.
As soon as the girl finished speaking, the sounds of battle and screams could be heard, and the smell of blood filled the air.
He stopped his thoughts and decided to hide in the field he knew about some techniques to camouflage him. He used the mud under his feet. He rolled in the mud to cover his body completely in mud. Because he knew that some of these contestants were not even human and they had specialties of their races.
Ba, thumb! Ba, thumb!
Next, he used the dry grass to stick it all over his body thanks to the mud the grass did not move much from his body. He was not standing when he was doing this. He was hiding in the grass field and tried to minimize his movements as much as he could.
He did not know if was it excitement or anxiety that made his heart beat so fast. But he continued going deep into the field by crawling. If someone looked carefully from above they would be able to see a small blackish color snail moving in the field.
Julius's attempt was successful and no beast or human came close to him.
Suddenly the sky shining brightly hid behind a shadow of a lizard that appeared in front of him like an angel of Death. Julius closed his eyes in resignation at what was about to happen next.
He felt like his body was going to be crushed and in pain, he opened his eyes and saw complete darkness. But he could still feel the pain and weight on his body. Can you still feel the pain after dying? He could smell the mud he had all over his body.
He tried to move his body. But the dark sky above him started to shake instead.
"Have I finally become an immortal venerable, so I had to die all along."
He thought.
Suddenly rays of light started shining above him and the darkness started to fade.
Soon, the time limit ended, and a familiar voice spoke. "Everyone stay where you are! The first test is over now. Any Regulars fighting from now on will be eliminated!"
"To the 200 Regulars who passed the test, congratulations to all of you."
"It may seem a bit rushed, but a short second test will be carried out right away," the voice continued. "Your second test is simple: find two Regulars to be your teammates."
"We are giving you a five-minute time limit! If you don't make a team in five minutes, you are eliminated!"
"To be considered a team, you need to be touching some part of your teammates' bodies when the time limit is over! Good luck!"
"What?" He was shocked but was happy that he was able to pass the test. He looked down that what he thought was dark sky was instead the huge body of Lizard which was killed when it tried to attack him by another contestant.
"Haha.."
He laughed at himself as he had thought he had become an immortal after getting killed.
He suddenly stopped laughing as he looked at the timer.
3:59
One minute has already been wasted. He looked around but everyone ignored him as his body was covered in mud and grass.
He again looked at the corpse of the Lizard.
"Yes, I could try that."
...
"The second test is over. Those who have made a team keep holding onto each other. " the voice continued.
"The three people holding each other at this moment are considered a team. All of you will be sent to the next test."
"The people who failed to find teammates will be eliminated."
Julius listened to the voice at the last moment he managed to find two teammates.
A/N: what do you think he did to make people his teammates?
[Evankhell's Mothership]
[The second test point]
Everyone who had managed to pass was walking towards the second test point. Among them was our MC with his two teammates who just like him were cowards and they agreed to make a temporary team together. Julius did not trust them and vice versa.
The test administrator was here. He did not remember his name.
"Was it Rero Ro or Lero something."
The guy had yellow hair and looked more like a human being.
"I am the test administrator, Lero Ro."
After Julius heard the introduction from the Test administrator he remembered that this guy's name was Lero Ro.
"Test Administrator... does that mean you are a Ranker?" NPC Asked.
"Yes, I am a Ranker" Lero Ro replied.
Lero Ro stepped on the stage of the second test and said, "Mic test, regulars over here, please focus!"
"I will explain the next round. Before that to give you some brief information about myself. I am your test administrator, Ranker Lero Ro. Nice to meet chu!"
"Now that you have had some rest let's move on to the next round."
A honey bee walked towards the stage and stood beside Lero Ro. Lero Ro left the stage and the next moment we saw that he had vanished. Well, he was a Ranker for sure. Julius was quite excited about his future.
Even though he had read about all of this seeing all of this happening in real time was something foreign to him. He also had a chance of becoming strong like Baam and even surpassing him. But seeing his current strength it seemed impossible to even pass the third floor test.
"I knew what the test would be but I do not know if the timeline I have arrived in is before or after Baam. If Baam is still somewhere on the lower floors I might be able to hug his thighs and climb the tower safely and in the process I can accumulate strength slowly." He thought.
Many people were asking what the test was about and how did they pass. Because the people who failed never returned. Everyone who passed said, "Don't Overthink."
They did not reveal much and he believed it, some people did not believe it but he also saw some people who still did not believe them and they still ignored everything they said.
Julius did not laugh at them. It was natural. He believed what they said because he knew what the test was about but the tower was a place where you could not trust even your best friend.
Finally, it was our turn. Julius and his team entered the room. The room was black with 12 red doors, and a wall clock.
A/N: I will skip this test and move on to the next test floor.
