He stood still, his lips curving into a smirk as he stared at the sapphire blue eyes of Lilith.
Time seemed to stand still as Lilith's gaze met Dracula's golden eyes, which gleamed with a palpable sense of excitement.
Lilith could tell that Dracula was excited but she had no idea about the reason why he was excited.
Dracula's smile widened, his lips curling to reveal a gleaming row of pearly white teeth that seemed to glisten in the warm light of the bookstore's chandeliers which was both alluring and unsettling.
"Miss me?" He asked all of a sudden, his absurd statement made Lilith choke on her saliva as she began to cough.
Dracula shook his head sideways with barely-suppressed amusement. "If I didn't know better, I'd think you were trying to be charming."
