Before Lilith's head could hit the ground, Dracula acted on repulse as he rushed towards her side, placing his hands beneath Lilith's head.
He stared at her face which was twisted in fright and then he stared at her already closed eyelids. 'Why do I always have the urge to do good things to this little mortal?' He questioned himself.
With a swift and polished movement, he raised Lilith from the ground, almost as if she weighed a feather.
He opened the door of her apartment but immediately halted on the spot. 'It's preferable that I leave her here.' He whispered to himself.
As he inhaled deeply, he gently laid Lilith on the ground before walking away with his hands deep in his pocket.
As Dracula strode down the stairs, he continued to observe if he could get the smell of Aeolus the Sand-Scented Sire, but he got none.
