Lilith ran out of the lift, and as she looked to the left, Merlin was nowhere to be found. Lilith searched her entire surroundings for Merlin, but he was nowhere to be seen.
Lilith had no choice but to dash back to the lift door, which was slightly closed.
As she stepped inside, her gaze fell on Laura.
'Why is she still here?' Lilith mused within herself as she entered the lift.
When she stepped inside, she was greeted with a friendly smile. "Did you see him?" Laura inquired, and Lilith shook her head sideways.
"I didn't." Lilith signed.
The lift trip became rather tense as Lilith considered what she would do to Merlin if she ever caught him.
After a short while, the beeping sound of the door could be heard, jolting Lilith from her reverie.
She blinked her eyelids many times as she stepped out of the lift. Lilith anticipated Laura to trail behind her, but as she looked around, she saw Laura standing still.
