Deep down, she could feel a cold aura that made goose dimples shroud her entire skin, causing her to feel a knot beneath her stomach.

The workers of Sanguisuga Cooperation who were all gathered became puzzled. Their coworker had informed them that Lilith was deaf-mute, so the fact that she could converse struck them by surprise.
"What's wrong?" she challenged, her stance fearless and defiant. "Why are you all stepping back? Is it because you thought I'm deaf and mute?
