Two youngsters who almost looked alike were walking through the grand hallways of the academy. Both had fiery red hair and dark black raven eyes.
Alicia and John were searching for their class, as Victoria had instructed them to do.
Alicia was quite happy today, and this didn't go unnoticed by her brother, who knew the reason behind her happiness.
The incident in the carriage when their elder brother apologized to Alicia was still fresh in their minds.
Seeing her happy face, John felt the urge to tease her, "Brother lucifer, how are you?" John shouted in an excited tone.
Hearing the mention of lucifer Alicia turned around to greet him but could only watch the empty air.
"Ha...haha..."
The only voice she could hear was of her brother's mocking laughter.
"Brother you seem to be enjoying yourself, should I join in the fun too." She asked John in a bone chilling voice.
"Umm...no need...I am quite content with myself. But still it was rare for brother to apologize to you, he sounded really caring at that moment."
Hearing this a smile found its way to her face, "Well I knew he always cared for me, I think we only misunderstand him. We should try to be more open to him, so that he can too feel good in our company. What do you think?"
"Hmm...well that certainly seems like a good option for a family bonding, but do you really think he would appreciate our unnecessary company. He might even get irritated by it." John said looking straight into her black eyes.
Alicia went into deep thinking after hearing this. John felt bad for crumbling her hopes. He knew all too well, how much Alicia loved lucifer since her childhood. But after his 10th birthday when he suddenly stopped interacting with them, was the darkest phase in her life.
She tried to hide her sadness to the best extent of her ability, but failed when lucifer came into the equation.
"I have heard that there are many events conducted here for the students to know each other. It would be a good chance for us to initiate proper conversations with him, or maybe even hang out together." John said to cheer her up.
It worked well and her spirit seems to have lifted up.
As they kept on talking, they could see a room at the corner of the hallway with 'Class 1A' written on a shining metal plate. It was the class where they were placed.
John looked at Alicia and signaled her to enter together. It really felt like a new beginning to him.
They opened the doors and were greeted by many faces, all looking at them.
A professor stood on the stage waiting for the new entrants. She had green hairs flowing up to her waist, dark green eyes and pointy ears. She was an elf without a doubt.
Adjusting her spectacle she spoke in a warm and friendly tone "You may come in and introduce yourselves."

Samantha was waiting for all the students to settle down, so that she could begin with their first lecture at the academy. Everyone was seated in an orderly manner, waiting for their professor to begin the lecture.
Still the class was short of three students, and she guessed who they all were.
Only the students from the House of Faldia were yet to come.
Her class being class A was full of special students. Although the students were randomly placed in different classes, this year was a bit special. Almost all the students in this class were from reputed backgrounds.
Some were sons of big merchants, traders, nobles and even heirs to the different houses of dukes in the empire. Even the second prince and the two younger princess of the empire were admitted in class A.
The second prince had black hairs which were tied in a pony tail. His grey eyes were deep, filled with respect not arrogance. He seemed modest for someone of his standing.
But you couldn't compare his strength by his looks alone. He was one of the prodigy talents of the empire, considered second only to his brother who was the successor to the throne of Azelblood. Zeke was sitting with his younger sisters who were second to none in their beauty and grace.
Diana had black hairs up to her shoulders length, freely falling and flowing with the winds that blew past her. Her blue eyes were like diamonds, one could get lost into just by looking.
Mira had similar dark black hairs as her sister, the only difference being a little curly at the ends. She had light bangs falling across her forehead, which just intensified her beauty to the peak of mortal realm.
Both sisters carried themselves in a manner befitting royalty. Their each and every action had grace revered by many.
Taking a side glance at the royals sitting in her class, Samantha focused on the entrance of the door waiting for her remaining students to join them. And as it appeared the gods had answered her wishes.
The only entrance to the classroom opened with two figures following suit. A girl with red hairs was accompanied by a boy who looked similar to her. Both had dark black eyes, which contrasted with their hair color.
The class went quite seeing the youngsters from the Mighty House of Faldia entering the class. Even though each and every student from the class was of high standing, these two stood amongst them. Their eyes showed their pride as a Faldian, and modesty like anything they had ever seen.
Seeing their arrival Samantha greeted them, "You may come in and introduce yourselves." Her voice was warm and friendly as an angel.
John took the lead, '' My name is John Faldia, and I am here to learn new and exciting things from this esteemed academy. It's nice to meet you, and I hope we can all get along." He said in a energetic tone, making his friendly intentions clear.
Alicia followed her brother and greeted the audience ahead her in a respectful manner," I am Alicia from House Faldia. It's nice to meet you all, and let's hope for a good year together."
Their greeting were followed by claps from the students, who liked the modesty of the siblings, with no arrogance in their words.
Seeing that the greetings were over Samantha stepped forward," John and Alicia, both of you can take your seats, we will soon begin with the lectures."
Hearing this both of them went towards an empty seat at the front, just next to where the royals were seated.
Samantha wanted to begin the class, but still one student was missing. And it was none other than the Heir of House Faldia, also known as the Cold Prince by many.
Every student in the class was awaiting the arrival of the cold prince, as many had heard stories of him. His fights with top nobles of the empire, and his cold demeanour was well known across the empire.
But even after all this, not many had seen him in reality, which piqued their interest.
Even Zeke and his two younger sisters Diana and Mira were waiting for his arrival. Knowing the heir of one of the most powerful and mighty house in the entire empire was important for them as royals of the empire.
Due to Lucifer avoiding public events, they couldn't get a chance to meet and talk to him.
Sensing the direction where all the students were focused on, Samantha understood their thoughts well. She too was interested in the so called cold prince.
"John your brother hasn't arrived yet...Is there any problem perhaps." She asked John out of interest.
"No ma'am he just went to..."
And before John could complete his sentence the doors to the classroom were opened yet again.
But unlike the previous time they were opened with authority and superiority, which could be felt in every step that the figure who entered the class took.
It was a young boy with dark black hairs and golden eyes filled with mystery and coldness.
