Chapter 67 - Volume 2 Prologue

The chirps of the morning birds couldn't be better after the bloom of shy flowers. The beautiful mist of the cold night scattered away in the gentle sunlight, creating an ethereal image of nature.

" Haa*"

A young man with a burly body swung down his sword while looking at the horizon with a calm face. His long hair is drafted between his shoulders, making him look like a sculpture of God in ancient times.

For normal people, he was a huge man with a towering 2 meters. His muscles were developed beautifully, creating perfect lines in his body. His sword form was also perfect, almost rivaling masters who spent years studying swords in their lifetime.

" Halfdan, you are going to catch a cold. Please wear some clothes when you train."

A young girl came behind him she put some clothes on his body while blushing when she saw his body. As a traditional woman, she was not near a man's body except Halfdan who saved her from her darkest days.

" Morgana, why are you here? I thought you were with Mother. Besides, why would a man of the north need clothes in this weather?"

Before he could finish his words, he sneezed with a loud noise. His ears turned red when he sneezed, knowing Morgana would laugh at him and he was right.

The girl laughed at his immature remark, thinking he hadn't changed all these years. He might have grown into a big man but still, he was a child in his heart along with his friends.

Halfdan scratched his head with embarrassment, trying to dodge her prying gaze while looking around. He saw the familiar people in the distance as he waved his hands to greet them.

Two giant men that surpassed his height waved their hands while the other one nodded at him. They quickly came before Halfdan, looking at Morgana and him with a teasing look. Two giant men patted his shoulders while whispering into his ears.

" Man, look at Morgana. Why don't you marry her already? You are already 16 and you are heir of the chief, so you need a wife."

Halfdan rolled his eyes when he heard their words, pushing them back while gesturing for Morgana to leave. Morgana smiled gently at his gesture, turning back to leave but before she could do that the normal man stopped her.

" Morgana, bring this cheese to your mother. Igraine made this for you from the fresh milk. It should be delicious."

Morgana thanked the man with a simple bow while running back to her house in a cheerful mood. The man observed her with a helpless face, believing this girl was in love because she was shy around the men of the town.

" Lord Uther, I thought you were teaching Arthur today. Do you want to exercise with us?"

Halfdan asked him with a confused face, knowing this man wouldn't leave his house at all. Among the people he knew, Uther was one of the strongest and he was a true knight in a sense.

" That brat ran away again to your father. He didn't like my sword and he said I was a bad teacher."

The trio fell into silence while looking at the man with pity in their eyes. In their eyes, Uther and Magnus were the pinnacle of men but what could they say in this situation? The young man obviously chose the stronger-looking one since he was more muscular and taller than him. His strength was already beyond normal man even though he had one hand.

However, that didn't mean Uther was a light man. He also had developed a body and sharp vision that could see through almost every attack. In the sense of swordsmanship, he was better than Magnus who was blessed with a great body.

Therefore people could think of him as a stronger one despite their equal strength.

" Halfdan, do you remember the techniques that I taught you? Let me look at it."

Halfdan took a deep breath while holding his sword in both hands. His gaze focused on the horizon of the sky, imagining he was slashing it with his sword. The imagination was the most important aspect of a martial artist because, without it, they would lose their senses.
