Chereads / Make Me Yours / Chapter 8 - Damsel in Distress

Chapter 8 - Damsel in Distress

Tiffany wandered in the dark, unsure of where to go. Her expression wasn't any better.

She had a solemn expression, her heart aching in anger.

Her mind drifted back to, when Brent's hand slipped into the girl's pantie, his hot kisses on her and how he pulled her away.

Why wasn't she the one with Brent ? Why did he have to do it with another girl, right in front of her ? Why ?? Why ?!.....

Tiffany's eyes stung with hot tears, threatening to fall, she wiped it away and took a deep breath, calming herself.

Her eyes instinctively circled around the place she was standing, there wasn't any ray of light nor was there sound of music.

She was lost !!

Her heart skipped, as she glanced around her, trying to figure out the path she came through.

It was useless, because she couldn't figure anything out.

"What was I thinking, going home alone? I shouldn't have walked away, I should have sat down like the good girl I am, and waited for him to come back, shit ! ....." She mumbled, ruffling her head, as if an idea would pop out from her action.

She vowed to ignore Brent, the whole night, but at this point, Brent was her only saving grace.

Not thinking twice, she took out her phone to call him.

Boom ! There was no signal.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, not now please, not now,..... "

She waved her phone in the air, checking for signals, but her attempts were all void.

After multiple trials, that ended up being useless, she squatted down, staring blankly at her phone.

"Maybe you shouldn't have accepted coming to the party with him, you should've stayed back at home."

These thoughts flashed past her mind, but how she could stay alone at his house, when it was just her first day of arriving.

"Then you shouldn't have gotten angry and left the party. Look what you got yourself into....." Her conscious mind blamed her.

What was she going to do ?,

"A damsel in distress ?"

Tiffany was still lost in thoughts, when a strange but baritone voice came out of the blue.

She jolted in fear, and instinctively looked up to meet with a tall dark figure.

"W-who are you ?" She asked, straightening up herself, trying not to show the fear and panic evident in her voice.

"My bad, how can I miss introducing myself..." He smiled, palming his head.

Though it was dark, and the moon wasn't too bright as it was a crescent moon, Tiffany could slightly see the outline of his face.

"I'm Roman, and you ?"

"Tiffany ..." She replied, blunt and distant

"You've got a nice name there." He smiled.

"Thanks..."

Although the young man came out from the dark, out of nowhere, Tiffany couldn't feel any malicious intent around him, but she didn't dare to let her guard down.

"What did you come here for ?" Tiffany asked, as she stared at him sharply.

"You know, I can't even answer that question ." He pinched his brows, moving towards Tiffany.

She instinctively took steps back, glaring at him.

Roman halted and chuckled.

"I understand the fact that I'm a stranger to you but that doesn't mean I'm going to hurt you or do something bad to you." He said, feigning a hurt expression

"I assumed you lost your way around here, so I wanted to help, I can leave if you don't need it " he smiled and turned to leave.

One...., two..., three...., four....,

"Wait !!...."

Roman smiled mischievously, knowing his plan worked.

He stopped and turned to look at Tiffany, who brought her face down, seemingly ashamed.

"Uhhm, I'm sorry about earlier. I'm just new around here a-a-nd...." Her voice trailed off.

"It's fine, I understand your insecurities. I was just being nice and won't hurt you." He smiled gently.

"Thanks." Tiffy muttered.

"You're always welcomed."

"I was wondering, what or how you got lost here...."

"I came with my friend for a party, it was boring for me, so boring, I decided to take a walk and then I found myself here. " She lied.

Tiffy knew she couldn't bring herself to tell the details of what happened to Roman. She felt ashamed and foolish thinking about it herself. So lying right now was the only way out.

"Ohh I see" Roman nodded meaningfully.

Tiffy was about to ask him what he was also doing there, but remembered he said earlier, that he doesn't have an answer to that.

So she swallowed back the question.

"Your friend might be looking for you, we should go now..." Roman said.

Tiffany nodded and followed him.

All through the way back, they talked about random topics. Roman brought up a joke which made Tiffy laugh.

It was as if they've been friends for a long time.

•••••••

"This is my first time enjoying sex so badly. Fvck!, I feel like we should do this forever. " Ava moaned.

"I'll get going, don't show yourself in front of me again. I don't fvck the same slut twice." Brent said, buckling his belt.

"Y-you, hold on, I thought you enjoyed it ? We can do it again, if you aren't satisfied.... " She said, reaching her hands towards his crotch area.

"Get lost !" Brent yelled, and brushed off her hand from his pants.

Sobs, sobs, sobs "You can't just leave like that, are you ?. I want you....sobs... " She sniffled, trying to get closer to Brent.

But the latter ignored her and went his way.

******

Brent was mad with anger, when he couldn't find Tiffany around the partying premises.

"What the fvck do you mean she left ? !!" He yelled at Brenda.

"What's wrong with you, yelling at me, huh ? It's not like I'm her keeper, nor was I the one who asked you to go out with that slut" she taunted, glaring at him.

Brenda was already angry that her plans for hosting the party were useless. She couldn't even get to drug Brent's drink nor was she able to get him to have sex with her.

It was all useless !!,

Who asked Brent to bring his cousin with him, she was definitely the reason her plans got ruined.

Not wanting to stay there anymore, he got up and left.

Brent cursed himself, knowing it was all his fault. He shouldn't have left her all alone, just to satisfy his desire.

But self blame, wasn't going to find Tiffany right now.

He took out his phone and dialed her number.

But it wasn't connecting, after several trials, it finally connected and was ringing, but she wasn't picking her calls.

He kept calling, until the phone was automatically switched off.

Brent punched the air, resisting the urge to smash his phone.

He ruffled his hair in confusion, absolutely clueless on where to find Tiffany.

Roman....

He suddenly thought of Roman, thinking he could help him find her.

But Roman was nowhere to be found.

A certain thought was creating itself, inside his head. But he shook his head, trying to discard the possibilities.

Roman couldn't have left with Tiffany, could he ?.....
