Druvask Boar

The Druvask Boar, a mighty beast of the icy wastelands, is a majestic magical creature. These colossal monsters can topple even the largest trees with their powerful tusks, creating paths through the snowy forests. The largest boars reach lengths of up to eight meters, with impressive mass and muscular build. Their thick, armor-like hide not only protects them from the icy cold but also withstands any weapon or claw strikes. This superb adaptation to cold conditions makes the Druvask Boars formidable adversaries.

Ursine Tribe

The Ursine tribe, bear-like beings resembling white bears, inhabit the mystical land of Freljord, known for its harsh climate and ancient mysteries. Though Ursines are often found in remote forests and snowy plains, their exact distribution remains as enigmatic as their nature. These creatures revere the god Voilibra and are devoted to ancient traditions. The most intelligent Ursines are as wise as humans, while others prefer a beastly lifestyle, following their instincts and wild ways.

One of the Ursines' notable features is their powerful claws, capable of cutting through stone. These claws serve both in survival and symbolize their strength and connection to nature. Each tribe member also possesses a unique lightning gift, a blessing from Voilibra. This mystical power allows them to interact with nature and use lightning as a tool for defense and attack. Ursines are aggressive by nature, and encounters with them often end in conflict.

Yetis

Yetis are the rarest group of beasts in the dark expanse of Freljord. They reside on the high mountain peaks near the Fortress of the Frostguard and represent ancient inhabitants of these snowy wastelands. Reaching heights of up to ten meters, they impress with their power and grandeur. Ancient beings, Yetis have inhabited these peaks for millennia, jealously guarding their territories against intrusions. Capable of enduring the harshest conditions, Yetis have massive musculature and dense fur, providing warmth in icy winds. Their powerful paws and claws are adapted for climbing steep snowy slopes, making them masters of mountain terrain.

Trolls

Trolls are an aggressive species of enraged creatures dominating the cold expanses of Freljord. They move on two legs, sometimes using their hands for faster movement, similar to gorillas. Strong and muscular, trolls exhibit more animalistic behavior, making them dangerous opponents in the wild of this cold and harsh region. Their primary weapons are clubs made from sturdy wood or ice, used for both defense and hunting, symbolizing their strength. Sometimes, trolls prefer to fight without weapons, relying on their physical might and animal instincts in close combat.

Trolls often band together in tribes, following their own hierarchies and laws. They do not tolerate intrusions into their territory and can be extremely hostile to trespassers. Their aggressive behavior makes them dangerous for those who venture into the snowy areas controlled by these creatures.

Spirits of the Ice Lands

In the cold lands imbued with ice magic, a variety of spirits and other beings thrive, born from this harsh energy. From primitive ice orbs quietly floating in bottomless caves to vengeful ice serpents.

Ice Orbs: Simple, mindless creations dwelling in frozen caves. These shimmering spheres contain an inner energy and emit intense cold that can penetrate flesh and bone. They require no food or other forms of energy, as their essence feeds on the cold and magical energy in their environment.

Ice Serpents: Sinister creatures taking the form of serpents made of pure ice, hostile to all living things. Their icy scales shimmer with blue light, creating a glimmering aura of cold around them. These beings arise as manifestations of ice and darkness, born on battlefields soaked with rage and blood. Ice serpents have a unique ability to control ice elements in their attacks, creating ice storms, freezing opponents, and coiling around their targets like the cold embrace of death.

Ice Golems: Among the beings summoned by cold magic, ice golems stand out—mighty creations made of magical ice, possessing invincible strength.

In Freljord, where cold winds merge with magic, it is said that death is merely a transition. The souls of the departed do not leave the world of the living but become spirits. The inhabitants, filled with faith, speak to them, hoping their words reach those who have passed and bring comfort. This connection with the souls of the departed has become part of the culture, adding even more mysticism and spirituality to the cold world of Freljord.
