After a few minutes of drive we reached pottery studio .
As we pulled into the pottery studio's parking lot, Felix turned to me with a charming smile .
" Ready to get creative, Sophia? " he asked , his eyes sparkling with excitement .
I nodded, feeling a flutter in my chest.
" Seeing your big smile I think I made the right choice by bringing you here " I said while opening the car door .
" You certainly did " replied Felix .
We walked into the studio, surrounded by the earthy scent of clay and the soft hum of pottery wheels .
Our instructor, a friendly artist named Claire greeted us and explained the basics of hand-building pottery .
Felix and I exchanged a playful glance , both of us eager to get our hands dirty .
As we worked on our respective projects , Felix proved to be a talented potter , crafting a beautiful vase with ease .
I on the other hand , struggled to shape my clay into something remotely resembling a bowl .
" I thought it would be easy to work with but I guess I will be struggling with this " I said while struggling .
" But how come you are so good at this " I asked while glancing at Felix .
" I used to do this in my own studio whenever I felt stressed and found myself occupied with some random thoughts " replied Felix .
" So you are saying you have your own pottery studio? " I questioned with astonishment .
" You could say that " replied Felix with a playful smirk on his face .
During our conversation Felix noticed my struggle and offered his help, our hands touching as he guided mine through the process .
His touch sent a thrill through me , and I couldn't help but notice the way his eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled .
" Feel the spin " he whispered , his breath tickling my ear . I nodded, focusing on the sensation as the clay began to take shape under our combined efforts .
As we worked together, our conversation flowed effortlessly, like we'd known each other for years .
" So you are saying that your best friend thought that you might steal her boyfriend and started a rumor about you " asked Felix .
" Yess and everyone started keeping their distance form me without any reason like I would ever want his skinny boyfriend " I replied in a dramatic tone .
Felix and I both laughed .
After a while , announced it was time to add decorations to our creations .
Felix pulled out a small tool and began etching intricate patterns onto his vase .
I opted for a more simplistic approach , adding a few playful squiggles to my bowl .
As we finished up , Felix turned to me with a proud grin .
" What do you think? " he asked, holding up his stunning vase.
I clapped in admiration, and he chuckled , his eyes crinkling at the corners .
Before I knew it , two hours had passed , and our pottery creations were ready to be fired in the kiln .
We carefully placed our creations inside , Felix turned to me with a smile .
"Can't wait to see how they turn out " said Felix with an affectionate smile .
" Neither can I " I replied .
The instructor explained that the kiln would take about a week to fire our pieces depending up on the type of clay and glazes we used .
After that we left the studio and it was already evening so we decided to eat something at the nearby restaurant .
