Mir wasn't left completely unscathed in that exchange. The momentum of the punch carried over to his face, dulled by the glass box midway, still forcing him to stumble to the side a couple of steps. The brawl ended as quickly as it had begun, with both combatants being forced to retreat a good distance, enough distance to think past their fists and take more rational decisions.
The dining hall had fallen silent. Many gazes were focused on them, some were focused on the guards at the entrance and the exit, and some took only a bored look before returning to minding their own business.
