Mir had no more weapons to throw at the enemy, not that it would've mattered either way. This rocky humanoid creature seemed untouchable within the Blightmist. He had never read about a mutant beast like this, which strongly pointed to the possibility that this was a human abomination, quite possibly a Transcender too, judging by the completeness of its rocky armor. Ordinary humans turning into abominations didn't have such a 'polished' appearance.
The abomination gently reached out, about to touch his back, forcing Mir to turn around fully and avoid the hand. But its speed suddenly accelerated, and it caught his shoulder with a harsh, rough grip that almost tore into his flesh.
One confrontation with the abomination's monstrous strength made Mir realize that it was impossible for him to win in that field. But he stopped struggling to free himself for a different reason.
