A hand came to rest upon Mir's shoulder from behind, gripping hard enough to cause discomfort. But it didn't change Mir's decision to not acknowledge the existence of the owner of that hand.
"Does this box contain what I asked for?" Mir said to the woman. Her eyes wandered towards the guy behind Mir, and the flicker of caution that rushed through her face didn't escape his notice.
He was now almost certain about the background of the two young explorers behind him. He had come across people with similar dispositions before. The resemblance was too uncanny to be a coincidence.
"Yes," the woman said, recovering from her moment of shock quickly. "Why else would I look for you?"
