For the first time since entering the training cabin, Mir didn't feel very interested in submerging himself into intense training sessions anymore. He sat on the sloped field outside the cabins, soaking himself in the comfort of the night's oppressive darkness, watching the bulbs blinking on the distant wall that enveloped the back of the Church.
Murray appeared beside him at some point while he was deep in his introspection. Neither spoke for a long time, and in the end, Murray broke the silence.

"This is not the right place, nor the right time to be speaking about this matter," Mir muttered. Murray seemed to notice the peculiarity in his tone. He scooted closer and said, "What happened?"
