Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Undeniable Looks

If we're going to talk about first love, do you have anything to say? If not, then maybe you haven't met Rowan Montgomery yet. He's tall, handsome, and always smells good. A natural athlete, he's creative and charming, but his mischievous behavior towards teachers often lands him in trouble. Despite this, his cute and endearing qualities make it hard to stay mad at him for long.

Imagine one of the campus crushes, with a bad attitude and some weird habits, but you still accept him because he's handsome. Oh, don't deny it, you'd do the same if someone were good-looking. HAHAHAHAHA!

Besides that, many teachers don't want him as a student because he lacks respect when they're teaching, just like this.

**Flashback:**

In the middle of a history class, Mr. Thompson was passionately explaining the intricacies of ancient civilizations when he noticed a paper airplane sailing across the room. Annoyed, he halted mid-sentence and strode over to Rowan's desk.

"Rowan," Mr. Thompson's tone was stern, "Care to explain why you're disrupting the class with paper airplanes?"

Jake smirked, unfazed by the teacher's annoyance. "Just testing the laws of flight, sir. Hands-on learning, you know?"

Mr. Thompson's frustration simmered. "Hands-on learning is one thing, Rowan, but disrupting the class is another. This is disrespectful."

Jake shrugged, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Sorry, sir. Just trying to spice up your lesson."

Mr. Thompson's jaw tightened. "Spice up my lesson? You're testing my patience, young man."

As the class watched the exchange with bated breath, Jake's grin widened. "Sorry, Mr. Thompson. I'll stick to textbook learning from now on."

Mr. Thompson sighed, knowing Jake's antics wouldn't end anytime soon. Dealing with his clever but annoying student was always a challenge.

See. That's one example of how annoyingly clever he can be. But what if one of the teachers fought back? Will he change? Or will he become kinder? When will that happen? Let's just wait and see.

"Guys. I heard Ms. Sofie was sick. I'm not sure if we have classes today or not," Arlo said.

"I'm sure we don't. We've been waiting here for less than 10 minutes, and nobody's arrived yet," Gilbert replied.

"They'll probably tell us if there's no class, right? Let's just wait a bit longer in case someone shows up," Nova explained.

"Quiet down, everyone. Ellis has something important to say!" their secretary said.

Some were annoyed with him because he was known for butting in (a real talker).

"Sorry for making you wait. Our principal told me that we'll have a new adviser today since Ms. Sofie is sick and in the hospital for fast recovery. I hope you all understand. Thank you."

Before leaving, he paused as he read a text message on his phone.

"He's coming!" he suddenly announced to everyone.

"You mean, the new teacher?" the secretary asked.

"Yes. Please arrange the chairs properly," their class president replied.

They quickly rearranged their seats before sitting down. Their class president promptly checked the attendance.

He went to the front with the attendance book. He first glanced at the back to see if anyone hadn't shown up.

"Rowan is absent. What happened to Mike? Does he have an excuse letter?" he asked the secretary.

"He chatted me earlier, saying there's an emergency at home so he's absent today. I told him to bring an excuse letter tomorrow for validation of his absence, Mr. President," she replied, handing her phone over to show that she was telling the truth.

"Okay."

While he was busy checking attendance, someone suddenly caught their whole attention.

"Good morning. I apologize for being late today," he said with a grin. Their class president immediately recognized him.

"Good morning, sir. I'm done checking the attendance, as you asked," their class president warmly replied.

"Thank you," he said, looking at everyone. "Won't you welcome your new adviser? And I did say good morning. Any replies?" Some blinked in surprise, while others just stared at him. "Is this how it is?" he suddenly said, catching everyone off guard. "Not sometimes, but every day you fight? I see. That's why your teacher gave up on this class. You know what? She's sick from stress. Show a little understanding and thoughtfulness before you do that to each other."

He didn't care about anyone right now, even his classmates knew it.

He stood up and stared at him, "You're quite handsome, you have a cute face. Hmm... You have great body too, but... Your attitude sucks." He then gave him a rude hand gesture with his middle finger.

"You-"

Their teacher was about to speak, but he quickly left.

"I can't believe this."

"That's him, sir. He's the one the principal was talking about. Can you handle him?" their class president asked.

"No problem. I fixed hardware, and now they're in good condition," Mr. Meyer replied. "As he is..."

"I guess that's it for today. I think you should get to know each other better. The first thing I'll do is have you introduce yourselves in front of the class. Just think of it as our first day of school." He smiled and then sat down. "Oh, don't forget to mention your hobbies," he added.

Cristy's Point of View:

I'm naturally shy, and I was lucky enough to be absent on the first day of school. But now I have to come back? Oh no, that's not possible.

I cautiously glanced at Ranien, who was happily listening to our new teacher. You wouldn't even catch Francis looking that attentive, even though he's your boyfriend, but when it comes to Sir Meyer, he turns into a docile kitten. I also feel a bit foolish whenever I look at him. It's strange.

Beside him is Philonie, who's quite quiet. He's peacefully listening, but his fashion sense is terrible. He's rich, so he can afford all the nice clothes and skincare routines. Jeez, let me take your place. I know how to enjoy life, not just focus on studying all the time.

And then there's Gilbert, my worst enemy. Can we kindly remove him from this school? I can't stand his sharp tongue; I'd love to chop it off with a fine knife. I don't want to speak to him anymore; my blood boils whenever I'm around him, and I might lose my temper because of him.

I've been noticing Mycey (the secretary) sticking close to Ellis(the class president) lately. She looks like a gecko in my eyes.

Mr. President seems to be doing well, but he's too humble, which makes many people like him, including me. Damn, did I just say that out loud?

I know I don't stand a chance with him, and I also know who he likes. I didn't really expect anything because she's so ugly HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA! I am more prettier than her.

Damn, it's almost my turn to be called. I'm shaking, scared, and I feel like I'm going to stutter in front of everyone...

Please, someone send me a Knight to save me from this worst moment. I hope there's someone.
