2nd of January, SaturdayHikari slept peacefully during the serene, quiet night, blessed by peace. Yet he still remembered the unusual, generous encounter with Kenzō. Hikari convinced himself that the memory was an unrealistic, fantasy. Hikari snugged close into the soft blanket, warmed by the sun... blankets...Hikari sat up with a sudden jolt. As he glanced down, he realised a fluffy blanket wrapped cozily around himself. Hikari stretched and left his bed reluctantly, determined to find Kenzō.The apartment was simple, but unfamiliar with Hikari. He gradually wandered into the kitchen, glimpsing Kenzō sitting at the table, drinking freshly made coffee. Kenzō blew gently on the surface of his fuming cappuccino, emitting a small puff of steam. Kenzō relaxed in his chair, not noticing the figure standing behind him, rubbing his eyes. Finally, he acknowledged the brunet, turning around to face him."Had a nice dream?" Kenzō smiled teasingly, "You've been sleeping for a while, I'm impressed you found your way through the room."Hikari blinked, "I want to know how I got here..." he said in a hushed tone."Your not fully awake yet?" Kenzō regarded Hikari with surprise. "I'll tell you later after you brush your teeth." He spoke, folding his arms gracefully."No, I want to know." Hikari complained lightly, "Also you're drinking caffeine in the morning."Kenzō laughed, "Stubborn and straight to the point. Unfortunately, it's a no from me, your filthy and you need to get cleaned up, you either have to wait until your tidy, unless you want to clean the house tonight?""Alright, fine... I'll go wash myself, but you better not blackmail me." ***Shortly, Hikari exited the bathroom, drenched. Kenzō glanced up from his phone, silently approving that Hikari was no longer dirty. He stood up and seized his scissors. Kenzō gathered the long, messy hair and trimmed the obsidian hair into a shorter neat but slightly messy haircut.Kenzō stepped back and admired his hairstyle, not much big of a difference really, but more... shorter. Hikari brushed of the remaining cut hair of his shoulder and peered at himself in a mirror. "Wow.." Hikari whispered. He turned around to face Kenzō to compliment him, but the brown haired male shook his head casually."It's nothing."Hikari stared slightly, but he nodded timidly. "Anything else?"Kenzō regarded at his new house-mate carefully. "We have to get you new clothes." He decided calmly, "You can't go around in public wearing the exact same clothes everyday, you eventually need a job too, because I have work to do soon and I can't afford to leave you here by yourself."Hikari agreed patiently, seeming to understand that Kenzō didn't fully trust him yet. "Okay, let's go."
