Chapter 390 - Chapter 390: As long as the hoe is used well, there is no corner that cannot be dug down

"It is indeed dangerous,"

Snape said slowly. "You might as well try to change history with that thing."

Andy raised an eyebrow. "What will happen?"

Snape said sinisterly, "You will disappear, and then one day in the future, we might find a decomposing corpse in some corner."

"Any time-based magic is fickle. Even making a minor change to the past can have devastating consequences in the future."

Andy was already tempted.

A magical object that could manipulate time!

Even if that object could only be used for learning, and even if the consequences of changing the past were not something Andy could bear, Andy still wanted to get a Time-Turner and experience the magic of time.

Andy was a little annoyed!

When he went to the Time Room, he should have searched carefully, and it would have been perfect if he had been able to get a Time-Turner.

"Professor, how was the Time-Turner created?" Andy asked curiously.

"I don't know!"

Snape said, "It is said that the Time-Turner itself does not have any unique function. It is just a standard timekeeping device that was later enchanted with a spell called the Time Reversal Spell."

Andy's eyes twitched slightly.

Just from the name of the spell, one could tell that the power of the Time Reversal Spell could allow a person to go back in time.

But the question was, could wizards really use such a spell?

It is clearly not in the books.

Even in the restricted section of the Hogwarts library, there is absolutely no record of this spell.

So...can the Unspeakable of the Department of Mysteries cast the Time Reversal Spell?

Andy thinks this is simply impossible!

"Professor, what do you think of the previous proposal?"

Andy asked expectantly, "Just so you know, I definitely want to go back to the Department of Mysteries. I'm interested in all the rooms, the Department's archive, and even the Time-Turner."

Snape: "..."

A professor and a student discussing a plan to break into the Ministry of Magic in a private room in an Inn.

Is this really normal?

As a professor, Snape feels that he should immediately put a stop to Andy's crazy ideas, then deduce Ravenclaw a few points and detain Andy for a semester.

No! This kind of student should be arrested and sent to Azkaban!

If Hogwarts had five houses, then young wizards like Andy could be sorted into the house they belong in.

What should I say?

Snape thought, should I say: You better give up this crazy idea right now?

Snape suddenly felt that he was failing as a professor. Not only was he unable to stop a student's criminal thoughts, he even wanted to get involved.

Snape slowly got up, looked at Andy sinisterly, and said in a cold voice, "I will give you the results of the analysis of the potion and the Resurrection Stone after the start of the semester."

After saying this, Snape waved his robes and walked out of the private room like the wind.

Andy: "..."

Tsk!

Andy was a little helpless.

The generation gap between professor and student made it impossible for Snape to cooperate with Andy without losing pride.

But...

After breaking a few more bottom lines, it will disappear.

Andy firmly believes in one truth.

As long as you swing the hoe well, no corner cannot be dug.

It was exciting just thinking about digging up Dumbledore and Voldemort's corner —both of them thought that Snape was on their side until the very end when Snape betrayed them. Only then would everyone realise that Snape was on Andy's side.

It was a spy-on-a-spy situation.

***

"Time..."

Sitting on the sofa in the private room, Andy wasn't thinking about Snape, but rather pondering the Time Reversal Spell.

Andy had heard of a principle of time paradoxes.

—People can go back in time, but they cannot change the course of history by doing so.

'If someone really goes back to the past of this time and space, then they definitely cannot change history, and instead they will participate in a historical process.'

Even so, the Time Reversal spell was still a terrifying spell. Andy could hardly imagine that a wizard's magic could reach into the realm of time.

Time was different from space.

It is a power that can only be mastered in higher dimensions.

'The world of magic is becoming more and more mysterious.'

The more Andy understands about magic, the more he realises that the world of magic is unfathomable—it is definitely not as plain and simple as it seems.

It is conceivable that if Hogwarts were the only place where magic was taught, the civilisation of magic would never have reached its current height.

What does an outstanding Hogwarts graduate look like?

Severus Snape is an outstanding Hogwarts graduate.

But even if we leave Snape aside, can Dumbledore and Voldemort use the Time Reversal spell?

Andy doesn't think they can.

So where did this spell come from?

The Time Reversal spell... It must be very difficult to cast, perhaps even the greatest wizard of the twentieth century couldn't do it.

But it was created!

Andy can only think of one answer to this!

The magic of the gods.

'Perhaps those ancient wizards really did steal the power of the gods and even achieved the feat of "killing the gods"!'

They hid the secret there!

Andy can't wait to go back to the Department of Mysteries.

Those mysterious rooms.

And the Department of Mysteries' archive room.

"Hoo..."

Andy let out a breath and got up to tidy his slightly messy clothes.

For many things, just 'thinking about it' is not enough.

Andy was ready to immediately begin experimenting with magic transfiguration and quickly improve his own strength. He would use magic transfiguration as a breakthrough to explore the magic of the stars and death.

Andy had devised two methods of magic transfiguration for himself.

The first method required the magic of the Sun and Moon and could only be completed at a specific time.

The second method required the magic of death and involved dark magic transfiguration – although this method was dangerous, it did not require the assistance of the stars and would give him more freedom in terms of timing.

In other words, Andy could start preparing right away.

A hidden laboratory.

The relevant potion ingredients.

And...a dark wizard!

'If all goes well, I'll be able to try my first magic transfiguration before the end of my third year.'

Compared to the magic of the stars, Andy still preferred to use the magic of death for magic transfiguration.

Because that was the power that touched the soul!

'The summer holiday at the end of the third year...I have to revisit the Department of Mysteries!'

With his next plan in mind, Andy left the Three Broomsticks Inn and found a secluded corner to use the Apparition spell to go home.
