'Dumbledore, you big liar!' Andy roared in his heart.
Just a month ago, Dumbledore had told Andy personally that the Resurrection Stone could only summon a presence that was more real than the soul, but more illusory than the physical body – the thoughts of the living for the dead.
Andy almost believed him!
Because of Dumbledore's words, Andy had once doubted the power of the Deathly Hallows and questioned its authenticity countless times.
Perhaps...the Deathly Hallows are really just some kind of powerful alchemical object?
But now, Andy had seen the curtain hanging from the archway in the Death Chamber with his own eyes. Combined with the story about the Resurrection Stone mentioned in 'The Tale of the Three Brothers'...
Andy immediately thought that the curtain hanging from the archway might be the 'veil' that separated the two people mentioned in the story.
The resurrection stone may really be able to summon the souls of the dead into the real world. It's just that the souls of the dead are blocked by the curtain, which is why it seems so unreal.
'No wonder I wanted to come to the Death Chamber!'
This was not the first time Andy had heard about the Department of Mysteries, and he also knew that this department had been researching mysterious magical powers.
However, Andy was cautious, and even if he were curious about the Department of Mysteries, he would not suddenly have the curiosity to find out more.
When did Andy get this idea?
It was after he obtained the Resurrection Stone!
But before that, Andy had done something else.
While exploring the old Gaunt house, Andy increased his Divination talent by two levels to identify the danger hidden in the Horcrux ring.
Then, when Andy tried to solve the mystery of the Resurrection Stone, a force from the unknown guided him to the Death Chamber of the Department of Mysteries.
Andy hadn't paid much attention to this before.
But when Andy saw the curtain on the archway and recalled the 'veil' mentioned in the story involving the Resurrection Stone, it was only natural for him to make the connection.
Everything became clear!
If the 'veil' mentioned in the story is the same as the curtain on the archway, then it can undoubtedly prove that the Deathly Hallows are indeed related to death.
The curtain simply blocks the souls of the dead summoned by the Resurrection Stone on the archway.
The souls of the dead appear so unreal because they are separated from the living by a veil.
As for the pessimism of the souls of the dead...that is easier to understand.
How could anyone who has died not be pessimistic? Perhaps these souls are influenced by the power of the underworld.
What a discovery!
Andy was a little excited.
All it would take was Andy to take out the Resurrection Stone to prove whether there was a relationship between the two.
'If there really is a connection, perhaps... part of the power of the Death is also stored here,' Andy thought.
The theory of the God killer... might not have been a random brainstorm on Andy's part.
Andy remembered that Madam Bagshot had mentioned that the original site of the Ministry of Magic had also been a magical relic.
'Perhaps what the Department of Mysteries is researching is precisely the power of gods and dimensions. Only this kind of forbidden power needs to be kept completely secret from the outside world!'
The Unspeakables, no one knows what they are doing.
Killing gods!
Perhaps the power of death was not divided into three but into four or even five!
The three Deathly Hallows, as well as the arch and the curtain.
'The Brain Room, the Death Chamber, the Time Room, the Hall of Prophecy, the Space Chamber and the Love Room ...'
Andy's mind flashed back to the images he had seen after arriving at the Department of Mysteries.
Immortality, power, dimensions, gods...
'After I'm done here, if there's still time, I will study this place more carefully.'
'I better take some research materials and notes!'
Thinking this way, Andy no longer hesitated.
After taking out the Resurrection Stone, Andy held his wand in one hand and the Resurrection Stone in the other and slowly walked towards the archway along the spiralling steps.
Andy was about to prove all his conjectures!

The Auror office.
As the military force of the Ministry of Magic, Aurors are responsible for protecting the Ministry and maintaining law and order in the wizarding world.
However, before Sirius escaped from prison, well, before Azkaban was attacked, the Aurors didn't really have to work overtime very often.
There weren't that many criminals to catch in the wizarding world, and no one dared to make trouble at the Ministry of Magic.
But all that has changed now.
No trace has been found of the Death Eater who attacked Azkaban, and Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban – both of them are vicious and cunning Death Eaters.
Scrimgeour has now combined the two cases.
He believes that Death Eater gave Sirius a little help when he attacked Azkaban.
For example, a wand!
Today, working overtime has become the norm for Aurors.
They have to guard the Ministry of Magic, investigate the Death Eaters who attacked Azkaban and investigate Sirius's whereabouts at the same time.
They are extremely busy every day.
At 7:30, except for the Aurors who were tracking Sirius's whereabouts, the Aurors responsible for guarding the Ministry of Magic had already arrived at the Auror office.
There were only six of them.
'Hm?'
Scrimgeour looked around the room, his tone sounding a little harsh as he asked, 'Where's John?'
John Dawlish was the full name of the person Andy had transformed into.
The people in the office glanced at each other. None of them had seen Dawlish tonight.
"I saw him!"
Tonks said, "He went to the Department of Mysteries, saying he was visiting a friend."
Scrimgeour's brow furrowed slightly, "What time?"
"About..."
Tonks's face paled. "Six... six o'clock."
An Auror in his thirties said, "I remember. John doesn't know anyone in the Department of Mysteries, right? He doesn't have any friends who work there."
Tonks took a cautious look at Scrimgeour. She felt as if she had made a serious mistake.
Scrimgeour glanced at his watch and said coldly, "Six o'clock? It's already been an hour. Even if he was visiting a friend, he would have been back by now."
A blonde Auror said, "John has always been a very punctual person."
So everyone looked a little pale.
They realised that the Ministry of Magic might have been invaded, and it was right under their noses.
"Everyone, follow me to the Department of Mysteries immediately!"
Scrimgeour made a prompt decision, "Tonks, you go to the Department of Magical Transportation and tell them to close all exits and fireplaces in the Ministry!"
Tonks said with a look of unwillingness, "This time it was my mistake. I didn't realise that Dawlish was an impostor. I must catch him myself."
"Execute the order!" Scrimgeour's tone was stern.
Tonks gritted her teeth and said, "Yes!"
