Andy: "..."
Andy suspects that Dumbledore is connoting him, but has no proof.
As for how Dumbledore knew about it, that was a good guess.
A thousand-year-old basilisk had appeared on the black market, Dumbledore couldn't be unaware of it.
Breeding basilisks was originally illegal, and basilisks in the magic world were almost extinct, so where did this thousand-year-old basilisk come from?
As it happened, Andy had told Dumbledore that he had discovered the Slytherin Chamber of Secrets.
Then it all made sense.
"I do have a bit of stock left."
Andy said matter-of-factly, "How are we going to use it? Pour it directly onto the ring?"
Compared to Andy's shamelessness, a certain young witch was embarrassed at the moment. If possible, she even wanted to flee this place immediately and then never appear again.
Firstly, discussing the 'possibility of murdering Dumbledore' with Andy had been overheard by Dumbledore himself - although Hermione had immediately refuted the suggestion, and she had thought that Andy was only joking, there was no way around this embarrassment.
And then ... her teaming up with Andy to embezzle Hogwarts property was again revealed on the spot by Dumbledore.
Gosh!
Hermione couldn't even imagine what Dumbledore would think of her, would he think she was a delinquent?
"We need one more tool," Dumbledore said.
After saying that, without seeing how Dumbledore did it, Andy heard a melodious phoenix song ringing through the air.
Boom-
In the sky, a golden flame ignited, and the phoenix flew out of the flame, soaring freely in the sky.
It was also clutching a worn-out hat in its claws - it was the Sorting Hat.
"The Sorting Hat?" Hermione exclaimed in wonder.
After hearing the phoenix song, the young witch was suddenly in a much better mood and not as embarrassed as before, even the corners of her mouth unconsciously raised in a smile.
The phoenix threw down the Sorting Hat, which was grasped in Dumbledore's hand.
"For when a true Gryffindor needs it."
Dumbledore said as he pulled a sword out of the hat.
It was a very pretty sword, with a silver body and a red jewel on the hilt.
Dumbledore said, "This is the sword of Godric Gryffindor, forged by goblins. Its blade can absorb any power to strengthen it."
Andy had a glint in his eye, "Professor if a true Ravenclaw needs help, what can we get?"
Dumbledore: "..."
You can get a cloud of air!
"Mr Collins, could you drop basilisk blood onto the blade of this sword and let the sword absorb the power of the basilisk."
Dumbledore said, "Then use the sword to cleave the ring's connection to the Resurrection Stone."
Andy nodded, took his wand and flicked it at his coat pocket, and a vial of basilisk blood flew out.
Twisting the lid open, Andy dripped the basilisk blood onto the sword as he was told, the blood penetrated into the sword's body, and a faint glow flashed across the sword's body, which then reverted to the normal state in the blink of an eye.
"Is this enough?" Andy put the vial away.
Dumbledore placed the ring on the ground while swinging the sword. With just one stroke of the sword, the ring and the resurrection stone were completely separated.
Andy looked at the resurrection stone and didn't try to touch it.
Dumbledore said, "The curse was imposed on the ring. Having lost the magic power of the Resurrection Stone, it can only be triggered once now."
Andy waved his wand, igniting a fiendfyre to burn the ring.
After thinking about it, Andy waved his wand again and used the summoning charm to summon a mouse, then controlled the mouse to pick up the resurrection stone.
Andy picked up the resurrection stone, "Looks like the curse has worn off."
Hermione came over and looked at the Resurrection Stone curiously, "Is this the Deathly Hallows? Can it really bring the dead back to life?"
"Of course not, Miss Granger."
Dumbledore said as he summoned the Phoenix to his side. He handed over the Sorting Hat and the Gryffindor Sword to the Phoenix, which burst into flames and instantly disappeared.
What a great pet!
Andy's eyes were hot as he watched.
It was just a pity that the phoenix was Dumbledore's pet and not Hogwarts' property, Andy was destined to have nothing to do with it.
Dumbledore continued to explain, "In fact, the Resurrection Stone can only invoke a ... substance that is more real than a soul and more illusory than an entity? Let's term it that way for now!"
"I think that's just an impression we have in our minds about the dead, and it doesn't even count as a soul."
Andy frowned slightly.
"Professor ..."
Andy tentatively asked, "Legend has it that a person who has obtained three Deathly Hallows can become the master of the Death ... How much truth do you think there is in this matter?"
Dumbledore said indifferently, "The Deathly Hallows, may just be alchemy items made by the three Peverell brothers, they are just more powerful than normal alchemy items."
After a pause, Dumbledore continued, "If you think the legend is true, then do you think that the Death God will give such an important thing to humans?"
"Legends will always lose its original authenticity with the passage of time."
Andy keenly noticed that Dumbledore used the word 'maybe'.
Alchemy Items ...
Dumbledore might be able to use this rhetoric to fool others, but he certainly couldn't fool Andy.
Perhaps Dumbledore thought so too.
That's why he used the term 'maybe' and explained so much later.
"A Master Alchemist can't have only three alchemical items passed down, and there are no clues to prove that the three Peverell brothers are Master Alchemists."
Andy said, "Just like Nicolas Flamel. The philosopher's stone is famous, but there are many alchemical items handmade by Mr Flamel circulating in the market as well."
"And everyone knows he's a Master Alchemist."
On the contrary, Dumbledore's second statement ...
"Great power, visions of the dead, and the ability to be invisible ..."
Andy frowned, "What happens when those three powers are fused together?"
Hermione straightened up and said, "Andy, it's best if we don't put all three Deathly Hallows in one person's hand at the same time. Something bad might happen because of that."
"I know!" Andy nodded.
Truth to be told, Andy didn't plan to do that either!
After thinking about it, Andy suddenly gave both the Resurrection Stone and his own wand to Hermione for safekeeping; and then turned his gaze to Dumbledore.
"Professor ..."
Andy tentatively asked, "Would it be convenient for you ... to let me feel the power of the Elder Wand?"
Although Andy knew that this request was a bit excessive, he really couldn't hold back his curiosity about the Elder Wand.
That was a legendary wand!
Orange equipment!
Dumbledore handed over the Elder Wand to Andy so smoothly that Andy was surprised.
"Actually ..."
Dumbledore said, "I also need the Resurrection Stone to say a belated apology to someone who died many years ago!"
