"Very well! Mr Collins."
Professor McGonagall said, "It looks like you still retain your sanity as a human. That's not a rare occurrence in the first Animagus Transformation."
Hermione asked in confusion at that, "Professor McGonagall, would someone lose their sanity?"
"There will be some!"
Professor McGonagall explained, "Those wizards who fail their transformation usually lose their minds. Even after treatment and getting back their minds as humans, they will be more or less affected by their animalistic nature."
"Even if the transformation is successful, there will still be a period of time when they will be affected by the animalistic nature."
"But these are only problems during the first transformation, after this, Animagus will not be in any danger."
Hermione sighed in relief at that.
On the other hand, Andy was quietly experiencing what he felt when he was transformed, then he saw the young witch suddenly walk up to him, crouch down, and also reach out and poke her finger in the side of his head.
Andy: "..."
"What a pity!"
The young witch said with some disappointment, "The hairs are all drenched by the heavy rain, so I can't see the original appearance at all. But ... Andy, your Animagus form seems a bit fat?"
Andy swung his paw to knock Hermione's hand away.
Don't say such words again!
Professor McGonagall continued, "Mr Collins, if you wish to change back to your human form, simply visualise the image of yourself clearly in your mind when you were a human."
"I believe this should not be difficult for you."
Andy nodded, and then the cat's body quickly elongated, and Andy quickly changed back to his human form.
"Well done!"
Professor McGonagall exclaimed, "It's a pity that this isn't in a Transfiguration class, otherwise I would have added twenty points for sure."
"In the future, you just need to practice more, and you will be able to complete the form switch between human and orange cat just by thinking about it."
Andy was silent.
A cat is a cat, orange cat be damned!
"Also ..."
At this point, Professor McGonagall suddenly looked at Andy, "Although every Animagus has to register with the Ministry of Magic, there are always some exceptions to this kind of thing."
Hermione looked at Professor McGonagall with surprise at her words.
Was this something that would come out of Professor McGonagall's mouth?
"Of course! I'm willing to register with the Ministry of Magic, Professor McGonagall." Andy said.
What was the use of Animagus?
It was nothing more than the fact that you could use your animal form to run away from danger, other than that ... it was just to use your animal form to listen to a little bit of gossip.
After all, the animal form of Animagus can not use magic.
But Andy didn't learn Animagus to do this kind of thing.
Andy was trying to get a glimpse of the field of magic transfiguration by learning Animagus - Animagus was an advanced human transfiguration, and after mastering this, it would be much easier to learn human transfiguration as well.
As for using animal form to escape danger ...
Andy didn't think he would fall to this step.
Compared to Animagus's animal form, the process and gains of learning this magic spell were the most important thing to Andy.
"Very good!"
Professor McGonagall nodded approvingly before saying, "Well, we should go back. The rain is getting heavier and heavier, you should also take an early rest, don't be late for tomorrow's classes."
"Got it, Professor McGonagall," Hermione replied energetically.
As long as it wasn't the end of the world, nothing could affect Hermione's desire to attend class.
Andy: "..."
Back at the castle, it was not even eight o'clock.
Andy took out his wand and nudged Hermione, clearing the rainwater from Hermione's clothes. And then he nudged himself with his wand, and the wetness was removed from his clothes.
Professor McGonagall did the same thing.
"Professor McGonagall, thank you so much for tonight," Andy said gratefully.
Although Andy felt that he would be fine on his own, having Professor McGonagall standing nearby did give Andy more confidence - even if the transformation went wrong, there would be someone to help wipe his arse.
Moreover, Professor McGonagall had accompanied him on a journey at night despite the heavy rain and stormy weather ...
This heartfelt gesture was touching!
Andy decided that when he became the Headmaster in the future, he would definitely give Professor McGonagall a salary raise and have her pension doubled as well.
"You are too polite, Mr Collins."
Professor McGonagall seemed to be in a good mood as she said, "Before you go to bed at night, the two of you better go to the school's hospital wing to drink a cup of potion ... to prevent colds and flu, of course, I'll go there as well."
"Alright! Good night, Mr Collins, Miss Granger, see you tomorrow."
"Good night, Professor McGonagall." The two of them replied.
As soon as Professor McGonagall left, Andy instantly stretched with his hands up in the air, "Ah - months of preparation, it's finally over. I am so exhausted!"
"Andy!"
Hermione said with sudden excitement, "Why don't you show me your Animagus again?"
Andy looked embarrassed, "It's ..."
Hermione raised an eyebrow at this, "Don't forget, Professor McGonagall said that you have to practice a lot to be able to switch between the two forms by just using your thoughts."
"You need to practice, so I'll always be able to see it!"
Well, that's true!
"So how about we go to the Room of Requirement?" Andy asked.
"OK!" Hermione readily agreed.
After drinking two cups of potion in the school's hospital wing, Andy and Hermione made their way to the seventh floor of the castle and opened the Room of Requirement.
"I'll start then!" Andy said.
For some reason, Andy always felt a little ashamed to be in Animagus' form, especially when he was transforming in front of other people.
Taking a deep breath, Andy took out his wand and pointed it at himself.
As his body continued to shrink, Andy turned into a big fat orange cat in the blink of an eye.
Everyone mostly said that nine out of ten orange cats are fat, and there's one that weighs itself down - this was really true when applied to Andy's Animagus form.
As we all know, there are two cats at Hogwarts.
One cat was Mrs Norris, who was raised by Filch, and the other cat was Professor McGonagall's Animagus form.
But it should be said, that both cats were athletic in physique. Mrs Norris may be a bit dry and thin, but Professor McGonagall is definitely very healthy.
As for Andy ...
"Oh my god!"
The young witch covered her mouth and exclaimed, her tone was full of incredulity, "Andy, you're not fat either, right? Why is your Animagus form so ..."
Hermione gestured with her hands - about that fat!
Andy: "..."
Andy didn't want to, but this sort of thing was out of Andy's control.
Maybe it was the influence of the Fat Cat Patronus!
Andy moved around a bit as a cat, and it should be said that the weight did affect speed - Andy felt like he might not even be able to catch a rat.
Just as he was about to continue getting used to it, Andy suddenly felt himself being lifted up.
"You're really heavy!" The young witch complained.
