Time passed day by day and peace returned to Hogwarts. Ron, Percy, Justin, and the Ravenclaw girl had also been discharged from the ward.
The school crisis had been lifted, and the state of the young wizards wasn't so tense at last.
The most obvious display of this was Malfoy.
This kid had recently swelled up again, especially after the matter of that night came to light, Malfoy went to provoke Harry for three days, taunting him for hugging Andy's thigh.
As for how things came to light ...
Well ... in Dumbledore's words, your deeds somehow got out.
Anyway, Andy didn't say anything out loud, and neither did Harry.
As for exactly who said it, that's a matter of opinion.
As Christmas approached, the atmosphere in Hogwarts became more intense - after a few months of school, the young wizards were looking forward to the holidays.
Andy was also looking forward to it.
Andy planned to use this Christmas holiday to learn Apparition.
Once he had mastered that spell, he would be able to truly make some waves in this world.
During this time, Andy put all his energy into learning. There was no danger at Hogwarts, and the professors were doing their job - all of this was the result of Andy's hard work.
On top of that, Andy had a big thing to do.
This morning, Andy purposely got up early and went to the Forbidden Forest alone to collect some dew. The dew had to be taken from a place where there was no sunlight for seven whole days and no human contact.
On top of that, the chrysalis of a Death's-head Hawk Moth had also been prepared.
Tonight, it was the night of the full moon, and Andy had also been keeping the Mandrake's leaf in his mouth for a whole month.
After enduring through a daytime.
After nightfall, Andy put on his wizard robe and came alone to the Forbidden Forest.
The Forbidden Forest was huge, so it was quite easy to find a suitable place in the Forbidden Forest.
Tonight's weather was also very favourable, the moon was big and there wasn't a single dark cloud in the sky - if the moon was covered, then Andy would have to start all over again.
Taking out his wand, he summoned the Fat Cat Patronus, and as Andy communicated his thoughts, the Fat Cat Patronus flew to the side and dutifully did its job as a patron.
"Very good!"
Andy nodded with satisfaction.
Taking out a crystal vial, Andy spat a few mouthfuls of spit into it and then placed the Mandrake leaf inside.
To be honest, it was a bit disgusting.
Especially when he thought that he would have to drink this stuff in the future, Andy felt more nauseous.
But it couldn't be helped, this was probably the price to learn Animagus!
Placing the crystal vial under the moonlight, Andy added a hair and a teaspoon of dew into it and finally added a chrysalis of a Death's-head Hawk Moth.
"Done!"
All that was needed next was to put this disgusting mixture in a quiet, dark place.
Andy took out a metal box and put the crystal vial into it first, then he buried the metal box under a tree again and made a mark on the tree.
The preparations for Animagus were over at this point.
All Andy needed to do next was to patiently wait for stormy weather with thunder and lightning.
Of course, this did not mean that things were over for Andy.
Before the stormy weather came, every sunrise and sunset, Andy needed to perform the following actions: point the tip of his wand over his heart and mutter the incantation, "Amato Animo Animato Animagus."
Before the formal transformation, these things could not be missed even once, or everything would have to be done from the beginning.
It had to be said that Animagus was truly a complex procedure.
After doing everything, Andy dispersed the Patronus Charm and sneaked back into the castle.
After returning to his dorm room, Andy readjusted the alarm clock's ringing time.
The sun rises and sets at different times every day throughout the three hundred and sixty-five days of the year. Andy needed to recite the incantation at every sunrise and sunset, and could not miss one.
This was a matter of perseverance.
To be honest, if it wasn't for the sake of learning magic transfiguration, Andy would have given up on Animagus long ago.
It was too much for an animal transformation!
***
Early the next morning, Andy walked out of the dormitory in a high spirit.
"Whew! I thought you wouldn't be able to get up today."
Hermione teased, before asking curiously, "Andy, you didn't make any mistakes in your preparations, did you?"
"Of course!"
Andy laughed, "And I found out a secret. When you wake up early in the morning and then have a nap back, you'll be a bit more refreshed when you properly wake up."
Hermione: "..."
Is that kind of thing a secret?
"By the way, I'm going to learn Animagus as well."
Hermione said, "But given my level of Transfiguration, I don't think I'll be able to learn it until I'm in the fourth or fifth year."
"I have a word of advice," Andy said suddenly.
"What?" It was about magic, so Hermione got serious as well.
Andy said with a straight face, "You better make your preparations in the first half of the year, so you don't have to wait for months just for stormy weather like I have to do."
Hermione: "..."
"I'll keep that in mind."
Hermione blinked and then showed a quirky expression, "Also for your info, it snowed this morning."
OK, then?
Andy raised an eyebrow, "Come on! It's time to go eat."
After breakfast, the day of study officially began.
During this period, Andy had been studying the principles behind magic spells, experiencing that feeling when magic power becomes spells.
Modern magic, which could also be called simplified magic, minimised the difficulty of learning magic. Even the stupidest wizard could master dozens of different kinds of spells.
But there were gains and losses.
Simplicity and convenience were destined to disregard some important things.
And what Andy had to do was to pick up those important things again.
Thanks to up to seven points of [Charms] talent, after a lot of practice during this period of time, Andy had really found a bit of a feeling - that feeling when magic power becomes spells.
But there was another important thing today.
That's right, Andy got another [Potential Point].
With four [Potential Points], it was already possible to increase the [Will] attribute to level four.
In the magic practice room, Andy emptied the [Potential Points] and finished adding them once again.
[Potential Points: 0]
[Will: 4]
The increase in the [Will] attribute was not as obvious as the benefits brought to Andy when other attributes were increased.
Andy didn't even feel much.
But the benefits of a strong [Will] were obvious.
Andy waved his wand and summoned the Fat Cat Patronus.
Almost visible to the naked eye, the Fat Cat Patronus became much more solid. It was a fusion of mind and magic power, and [Will] could enhance the quality of [Mind], making the mind energy more tenacious.
'Let's try the attack power now!' Andy thought mentally.
