Find out Harry's secret?
Andy pondered.
If what Dumbledore had said was true, then was that why Voldemort's Horcrux controlled Ron to do all those things?
"Right!"
Andy suddenly thought of something and asked, "Headmaster, Hogsmeade side ..."
"It has been arranged."
Dumbledore said, "My brother has a tavern in the Hogsmeade village, and with him keeping an eye on the place, there can't be any chaos."
In this way ...
Andy ran through his thoughts.
Hogwarts side had Dumbledore keeping an eye on things, and Hogsmeade side had Dumbledore's brother keeping an eye on things. Even if someone took a leave of absence to leave the school, they would be thoroughly searched before they could leave.
So there's no need to be concerned about Voldemort's Horcrux hiding because he actually doesn't have the chance to leave the castle at all.
The reason why Dumbledore hadn't launched a large-scale search operation yet was to train Harry, and because Voldemort's behaviour was still within his tolerance.
-After all, no one was killed.
In this case, Voldemort's Horcrux was severely limited in what he could do.
He didn't even dare to do anything too out of line.
With the temporary inability to leave the castle, the thing that Voldemort wanted to do the most was naturally to find out Harry's secret.
As for Andy's route ...
Voldemort's Horcrux may be holding a glimmer of hope, but he would never dare to genuinely trust Andy.
Once, Andy really did what Voldemort said ...
Voldemort would have two choices.
First, trust Andy.
Second, report Andy and use Andy to cause chaos and then escape the castle taking that opportunity.
"Headmaster, speaking of Hogsmeade ..."
Andy continued to ask, "The young wizard who was controlled by Voldemort's Horcrux; if he casts Apparition in Hogsmeade, wouldn't he be able to leave the castle?"
Dumbledore nodded slightly, "That is correct."
"Then ...," Andy blinked at that.
If that was the case, why didn't Voldemort just do that?
Could the secret in Harry still be as important as the resurrection?
Dumbledore asked rhetorically, "Collins, if you had an alter ego, do you consider that alter ego to be you?"
"Uh ... of course not!" Andy replied.
Dumbledore continued, "In that case, when Voldemort split his soul to make a Horcrux, of course, he would put some restrictions on the Horcrux to prevent the split soul within the Horcrux from turning against him."
Andy nodded his head, that made some sense.
Only ...
He couldn't even trust himself, this was a little too miserable, right?
"This is the price of dark magic!"
Dumbledore took the opportunity to educate, "There is always a price to pay for using the power of darkness."
Andy was indifferent to this.
In this world, there was always a price to pay for wanting to obtain anything.
"Headmaster, to gain knowledge, you need to pay with your time."
Andy retorted, "I think that time is the most precious thing, what do you think?"
Is it possible to not study, to cherish your time?
"Time is indeed precious." Dumbledore didn't argue anymore.
Because it was pointless to argue about that.
Everyone's values are different, you care about things that others may not care about.
Andy shrugged and said, "It's better to continue talking about Voldemort! Now it seems that luring the snake out of the hole is impossible, he simply won't trust me."
Dumbledore nodded and said slowly, "But his ultimate goal is to leave Hogwarts. I've given him a certain amount of freedom, so he can still be patient for the time being."
But this patience had a time limit.
Christmas holiday!
Voldemort's Horcrux ought to know very well that Dumbledore would never let him leave Hogwarts.
His actions would surely become even crazier as December approached.
Because of this, although the Christmas holiday is the deadline, Dumbledore's actions definitely have to be before that.
Andy suddenly realized that Dumbledore and Voldemort were on the same page about a lot of things.
Whether it was Quirrell during the last school year or Horcrux during this semester, there had always been a special understanding between the two.
Even the last wizarding war was like that.
Dumbledore stayed in the castle, and Voldemort refrained from harming Hogwarts students - even those from Muggle families.
"Alright! I know what I should do." Andy said with some relief.
Luring the snake out of its hole didn't necessarily require going along with Voldemort.
The closer it got to the Christmas holiday, the more impatient Voldemort's Horcrux would become. At that time, he would grab every lifeline.
Andy was obviously one of those lifelines.
Dumbledore winked, "Collins, you're the most quick-witted young wizard I've ever met."
Just stop this nonsense!
Andy got up and smiled, "Headmaster, I'll not disturb your work since you're busy."
***
Leaving the Headmaster's office, Hermione immediately greeted him.
The little witch looked around with furtive eyes, and then asked in a low voice, "Andy, how's your talk going?"
"Not too good!"
Andy responded and asked, "How's your side? Did anyone follow you here?"
Hermione said, "No! Besides, our first class of the day is Charms, so we won't draw suspicion if we come to the seventh floor."
"What did Professor Dumbledore say? Why didn't your talk go well?"
The little witch was a little anxious.
Since this morning, Andy had been evasive and unwilling to say anything to her.
This was so different from the usual Andy.
So Hermione subconsciously felt that this time it must be about something big.
"Remember that letter this morning?"
Andy came to Hermione's ear and whispered, "He's trying to poach me."
Hermione: "!!!"
That was too explosive!
"So, what was your plan?" Hermione asked in a huff, she had obviously thought of a plan to lure the snake out of the hole as well.
Andy spread his hands and said, "What else could be the plan? Nothing, of course. He can still hold his breath and count on us now, but he won't be so relaxed by the time next month rolls around."
The more hasty you are, the more things will go wrong.
"Fine!"
Hermione said as she brushed her hair back, "It's getting late, we should get to class."
The Ravenclaw's first class of the day is charms with the Gryffindors.
Walking into the classroom, Andy glanced at Harry and Ron unnoticeably.
According to Dumbledore, Voldemort's Horcrux now had the leisure to play slowly with them. While planning to escape from the castle, he could also investigate the secrets of Harry in the process.
After all, the soul in this Horcrux was separated from Voldemort when he was young.
The Voldemort of that period had a mature personality and did not act more extreme.
'Is he controlling Ron to get the secrets on Harry?'
Andy analysed in his mind, 'Or is ... it most convenient to control Ron because of his relations?'
